example C source code, to be able to contribute to Kannel with the quality
of
patches we expect. But don't let me dis encourage you, go ahead and
LEARN.
You're source is the sources of Kannel. :)
Join the devel@ mailing list, which is more related to development
aspects, then
the users@ list that handles more the usage cases.

Manoj, The only risk you may face is that the tables have varied. So, to play safe: 1. Make sure that the send_sms table is empty (no pending messages) and drop the table. 2. Backup the sent_sms table and drop it as well. 3. Install sqlbox, it'll recreate the send_sms and sent_sms tables from scratch. If you can't afford dropping sent_sms (e.g. you're using the data for stats or whatever), try comparing the new structure with the old, and altering it so it matches. You can do that by pointing the new sqlbox to another (empty) db and comparing the structures after the tables are created. That's probably EMS, SmartMessaging or SCKL. All old and deprecated on most parts of the world. If you care about market share, you'd never be using midi over SMS. It's almost nonexistant. For MIDI, MP3 and similar formats, wap-push is the way to go imho. I think thats a bad idea for many reasons and doubt it can be actually done. I have seen hundreds of content providers in 5 years of work in the mobile industry and everyone uses wap push like someone else said. Maybe you should invent the technology to do it or stick to wap push.
