Currently, I have configured Kannel with following a

*Now kannel monitor shows me this output:*

SMS: received 0 (0 queued), sent 3516970 (0 queued), store size -1

 Hi Leandro,

 1. My Centos is up to date. Centos 6.5 with kernel 2.6.32-431

 2. Regarding Tuning: I Just Installed LAMP on a virtual machine
 getting 150+ tps.

 No tuning at all. directly it is giving 150 tps. Virtual machine config:
 1ghz, 512 mb ram  8gb hdd.

 Physical server any config its just 15 tps only.

 3. Virtual machine in the same system is giving 150+ TPS so no case of
 LAN.

 although i am using 1Gig Ethernet cards.

 4. HDD.: i placed 3 different H.D.D.  installed kannel in 3 different
 systems.

 All physical systems giving me same 15tps.

 I am using kannel from past 2 years. In VPS data centre or local virtual
 machines I am getting 150+ tps. In physical server i am getting 15 tps.

 I am not able to sleep with this issue in my brain. I dont know where I
 am wrong.

 Any one with Centos 6.5 kannel pls help me.

 1. Update all the CentOS to the latest yum update

 2. Look for MySQL tuning like

 3. Update ethernet board driver according to manufacturer or

 Still why my Physical Server is so low on T.P.S.

 I changed the mysql db server only. Kannel on the Server A only.

 Specify where does you find the speed to be slow.

 Depending on where it is the solution would be different. Nevertheless,
 there might be multiple adjustments to be done.

 - hadrware cpu/memory issue
 - mysql configuration/optimization
 - network bandwidth/congestion issue
 - smsc configuration/contract limit/window size
 - kannel cconfiguration
 - etc etc

 Hi

 That might be related to:
 - sqlbox - Here you have changed throughput from 10 to 100 so I don't
 think is the cause
 - mysql - You should optimize db parameters. Check on DB forums how to do
 it. Maybe too many connections? threads maxed out? assigned memory maxed
 out? search for optimizing/diagnostic tools for mysql.
 - hardware - Check you have enough memory and CPU is not maxed out

 Hi

 Specify where does you find the speed to be slow.

 Depending on where it is the solution would be different. Nevertheless,
 there might be multiple adjustments to be done.

 - hadrware cpu/memory issue
 - mysql configuration/optimization
 - network bandwidth/congestion issue
 - smsc configuration/contract limit/window size
 - kannel cconfiguration
 - etc etc

Hello Everyone,

Currently, I'm testing my application with Fake SMSC Connections.

One more thing I'm facing a problem regarding sqlbox tables.

When I'm inserting message into send_sms table then sqlbox inserts all
records in sent_sms table. I'm analysing, it is too low (10-20
message/second). So how to increase this.

 Now the problem is that When I'm sending 5000 messages through HTTP then

 I'm generating one more request of single message through HTTP.

 Try using sqlbox instead with priority field (alter sqlbox source to
 include ORDER by priority field) and INSERT messages with higher priority
 (e.g. = 0)

 Example:
 http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8458566/implementing-priority-queue-in-kannel

 Now the problem is that this single message is also in proceeding queue.

 So, how to manage this type of issue with Kannel. How to send this
 message to a free SMSC port.

 You can always specify free SMSC uplink with: smsc_id= via HTTP call
 or use smsc_id in sqlbox send_sms table.

 For higher throughput read about max-pending-submits as well as consult
 your upstream SMSC operator.

 Please share your valuable suggestions.

They are:

When I'm sending SMS through HTTP , I'm inserting each message into
*sqlbox_send_sms* table that are created by SQLBox. I'm also inserting each
message into my own table *sent_sms* for updating DLR.

Now problem is that dlr-url not updating dlr of each message.

So what will be the reason behind this. Please sort out my problem as soon

Regarding: How to Use SQLBox With BearerBox And SMSBox Properly

2014-10-15 Thread Aditya Khanna
*Hello Everyone,*
I'm need of your help.

Currently, I'm developing a Bulk SMS Application, So I'm using Kannel as
SMS Gateway.

First I was configuring Bearerbox and SMSBox for push messages to connected
SMPP server through HTTP. I was send each message to kannel using HTTP Url.
but It is failed when I'm sending Bulk SMS up to 50K to 100K. My HTTP has
been crashed due to kannel HTTP send sms url.

Like this
http://localhost:15010/cgi-bin/sendsms?parameters;

Now I'm handle this problem using SQLBox. So SQLBox creates two table in
DB: *send_sms*  *sent_sms*.

I'm inserting each request into send_sms table through HTTP.

But the problem is that SQLBox does not update each message DLR in
*sent_sms* table.

So I want to know that what is the probelm behind this:

Please find I'm attaching my configuration files below.

Regarding: How to Use SQLBox For Sending And Recieve SMS

2014-10-14 Thread Aditya Khanna
*Hello Everyone,*

Need Help?

Currently I'm working on Kannel SMS Gateway, I have configured Bearerbox,
SMSBox and SQLBox successfully. But now I don't know how to use SQLBox for
sending and receiving SMS.

Please give me appropriate solution of this issue.

Thanks,
Aditya Kkanna

Regarding: Kannel SQLBox

2014-10-14 Thread Aditya Khanna
*Hello Everyone,*
I'm configured Bearerbox, SQLBox and SMSBox successfully.

This are the steps:

1. Send SMS From HTTP to Kannel (Insert SMS Into SQLBox Insert table
sqlbox_send_sms)

2. SQLBox transferred all data from 'sqlbox_send_sms' to 'sqlbox_sent_sms'.

3. I'm passing this below parameters:
'momt' = $momt,
'sender' = $sender,
'receiver' = $reciever,
'msgdata' = $msgdata,
'smsc_id'=$smsc_id,
'sms_type' = $sms_type,
'dlr_mask' = $dlr_msk,
'dlr_url' = $dlr_url

*Now problem*

* is that:*
SQLBox does not push sms to SMSBox for push all messages to particular
connected SMPP/SMSC.

This is my configuration of SQLBox:

#--
# SQL BOX CONFIG
#--
group = sqlbox
id = sqlbox-db
smsbox-id = mysmsbox
global-sender =
bearerbox-host = localhost
bearerbox-port = 15000
smsbox-port = 15002
smsbox-port-ssl = false
sql-log-table = sqlbox_sent_sms
sql-insert-table = sqlbox_send_sms
log-file = sqlbox.log
log-level = 0
#ssl-client-certkey-file =
#ssl-server-cert-file =
#ssl-server-key-file =
#ssl-trusted-ca-file =
#--
# Example MYSQL Connection
#--
group = mysql-connection
id = sqlbox-db
host=127.0.0.1
port = 3306
username = root
password =
database = bulk_sms
#max-connections = 1
#--

Please check my above configuration and suggest me that where I'm mistaking.

Your valuable reply will be appreciate.

Thanks,
Aditya Khanna

How to Start Kannel SMS Gateway?

2014-08-11 Thread Aditya Khanna
Hello Everyone,

Is there any other way to start the Kannel SMS Gateway.

Currently, I'm starting Kannel SMS Gateway through Commands:

*bearerbox 0 -v kannel.conf (Bearerbox)*
*smsbox 0 -v kannel.conf (SMSBox)*

Is there any other way to start the Kannel SMS Gateway (using HTTP
application)?

*Thanks,*
*Aditya Khanna*
