We have already made a php or java based sms web panel with integrated
kannel on backend to push the SMS via smpp protocol to telco.

Please share your Skypeid so we will show you our panel.

 Hi everyone,

Apologies for cross posting. I just wanted to announce that there is an
alternative to OpenSMPPBox and commercial SMPPBox now available named
KSMPPD - it is completely free under the same license as Kannel. It works
with Kannel the same as the above to products just has some other
differences detailed on the repository page.

If you would like to try it out in your deployments you can check it
 out here: https://github.com/kneodev/ksmppd

If you have any issues or feedback you can leave them on the issue
 tracker.

 Thanks

2015-01-16 Thread John alero
Dear Ammar,

As per Kannel part you can send only 300 to 500 SMS in a second, if you
want to send 1000 SMS in a second use twice setup for the same and
hardware case Kannel not require high configuration server. If you have
used 4 GB RAM as well as 8 Core you will send the 300 to 500 TPS in a
second.

  Hi all,

I am using kannel 1.5.0 devel version. When i use Tx and Rx separated
while connecting SMSC now problem is when submit_sm happening message
delivered to handset and sms sent as 1 on kannel status page and showing
properly for Tx connection but when i receiving DLR on Rx connection it's
showing DLR: received 0 on kannel status page but dlr's coming properly on
 kannel logs.

Please suggest me why dlr's showing on kannel log but not showing on

Re: concatenated sms

2013-12-12 Thread John alero
Hi,

Kindly use below parameters in sendsms-user group.

group = sendsms-user [Group name to send SMS]

max-messages = 5 [max SMS length is 5]

concatenation=true

 Hi,

I have one smsc operator that does not concatenate a long sms. I send an
MT and the phone only receives the first part.

The operator said that the smsc support UDH and TLVs for this propose.

What kannel use for default and how should i make it work with UDH ?

If i use *concatenation = false*, the message is delivered into X parts.
But with true value i only get the first part. Other smsc operators work
 fine.

MMS GATEWAY

Hii,

Can we configure MMS gateway in Kannel, if yes then How ??

I know some open source tool providing MMS gateway.

Re: MMS GATEWAY

Hii,

I know mbuni is one kind of MMS gateway and used GWLIB and WAP libraries to
Kannel.

Thanks for your response.

Re: throughput limit exceeded

2013-08-11 Thread John alero
Below bearerbox logs defind you have used more then throughput providing
from telco. Kindly co-ordinate for the same and also test again using
max-pending-submits=1 in smsc configuration.

*Throughput limit exceeded (2.00,2.00)
*

smsc log appear throughput limit exceeded (2.00,2.00)

 1. I am not confirm that smsc throughput (msg per sec) including outbound
 (sending msg) and inbound (dlr).

 2. Is kannel control msg routing rate to smsc according to smsc
 throughput ?

  3. How will lead to throughput limit exceeded ? Is it possible from dlr
 ?
