yep, Tor browser is harden enough to protect you from these kind of attack and
provide better anonymity unless and untill you don't do any stupidity. If
possible always prefer to use Tor Browser.

How to Fix ACPI Error : Namespace lookup failure

2018-11-11 Thread finn via users
Greetings,
Whenever I boot up my PC I'm getting this error
`sudo dmesg`

   [ 12.432182] ACPI Error: [\_SB_.PCI0.LPCB.H_EC.ECAV] Namespace
lookup failure, AE_NOT_FOUND (20160831/psargs-359)
   [ 12.432241] ACPI Error: Method parse/execution failed
[\_SB.PCI0.B0D4._TMP] (Node 9de85a1f4410), AE_NOT_FOUND
(20160831/psparse-543)

It seems like something is missing (for ex. library, package etc).
I'm ignoring this error from 7-8 months because it has no bad effect on PC my
but I'm more interested in why am I getting this error? And if possible, How
can I fix this issue?___

Re: How do I start geoclue as a user?

2018-11-10 Thread finn via users
Add that User to sudo group and then use `sudo systemctl start geoclue` because
normal users can't modify system configuration.

Security issue

2018-11-06 Thread finn via users
Why wouldn't you regular review your task manager, system settings etc. to
confirm your machine has been not comprised ? (Here, few things which you can
do to confirm there isn't a breach in your system).
1. Failed logins: /var/log/messages
2. last, w, uptime
3. /etc/passwd changed?
4. fuser for ports
5. portscans in server report
6. weird processing hogging CPU?

Switching between different distro in six month is really a big pain. Isnt't it
?
