We build our own packages. Our repo can be found here:
http://obit.bit.nl/ubuntu/

To add the OBIT key to the APT key ring, use:
wget -qO- http://obit.bit.nl/ubuntu/obit.asc | apt-key add -

To add a repository to APT, use:
deb http://obit.bit.nl/ubuntu/// ./

We've got 4.4.0 packages for Ubuntu 13.10. If you need them for another
Ubuntu version just let me know, and I'll build them.

Re: [one-users] Breakage when upgrading from 4.38 to 4.4 ... [Resolved]

2013-12-06 Thread Ruben S. Montero
Ok. Thanks the fix is already in master and one-4.4 branch.

http://dev.opennebula.org/issues/2541

About the problem. Datastores are monitored through two different sources:

1.- monitor script for image datastores.

2.- System datastore are monitored through the monitor_ds script (as in
general they cannot be accessed in the front-end and are potentially
not-shared). There are only two system datastore types, shared and ssh
(with an associated LVM for the FS LVM datastore) so the du/df commands
should work.

The proposed patch adds additional error control so totally agree with it
(also add it a couple of checks for the other variable outputs)

THANKS!

Ruben

Re: [one-users] VMWare image on ONE 4.4

2013-12-06 Thread Eduardo Roloff
More information.

I downloaded the Cloud Sandbox for Virtual Box.

Configured to access the VMWare host and the System DS to use vmfs
(the Image DS I keep local).

And when I import the TTY in vmware format, I got the same, It was
imported (and tranfered when try to create a VM) with the original
filename, not with disk.vmdk.

[one-users] update... Re: (RESEND) need to create Flows? for openvswitch-based ONE (4.2) setup -- (passed on ebtables)

2013-12-06 Thread Mark Biggers
Hello Valetin and ONE team:

I have done some work to make the TTYLinux image (from ONE template)
fully boot, in addition to having the Marketplace Vyatta router boot
OK. They can ping & and SSH to each other, on their 10.0.0.0/24
network. They cannot "see" any external network.

What I am attempting to do is have at least complete network-routing,
from the "external" network, to the VMs "internal" network, and back
again. I have made little progress, so any steps to help make this
possible, are greatly appreciated. (I am currently looking at
establishing OpenFlow flows, across the OpenVSwitch, to "route"
packets... not sure about that, even).

Here's what I have, now:

Would it be "advantageous" to install another Ethernet port on my W-530
notebook, and have that be the OpenVSwitch "hardware" port?

thank you!

Re: [one-users] VMWare image on ONE 4.4

2013-12-06 Thread Eduardo Roloff
Hello Tino,

I create another Nebula front-end from scratch.

And the same is happens, all the images are imported to Nebula with
the original filenames.

 Tino,

 I created two images now, (1) disk,vmk and (2) RHEL.vmdk.

I compressed both with tar.gz and imported to OpenNebula using Sunstone.

The (1) is imported with disk, vmdk name and the (2) was imported with
 the RHEL.vmdk name.

Both are functional, but when I transfer to the VMWare host they are
transfered with the orginal name and the (2) cannot boot.

I checked the logs and the import processes for both occurs without
 any error message.

[one-users] Sunstone query ...

2013-12-06 Thread Gareth Bult
Hi,

After performing an operation on the Sunstone, say migrating 10 VM's or
Deploying 10VM's, I immediately
see a status change one some or all of the VM's, and again at some point the
screen will update again and
more statuses will change.

However, once I know the operation has completed, the screen does not do a
final refresh to show me that
everything is finished, it leaves it to me to click on the circular arrow next
to "Create" to force a refresh.

Do I have a problem - or is this the way it's supposed to work?? .. i.e. it
requires a manual refresh??

If this is the way it's supposed to be, is it possible to tune the display to
make it more 'interactive' ?
