Re: [one-users] instantiating template for Debian xen
Hello, thanks Javier for the tip. I certainly lack knowledge how these disk images work. Theres not too much info about them. I noticed there are xen images in qcow2 format. What version of xen should i use to support those properly? As of file:, i renamed image format from raw: to file: and passed that problem as you suggested. Other issue was with sched-cred not being found. I uncommented line with sched-credit, ran 'onehost sync', but logs still complained about Error: Subcommand sched-cred not found!. I had to remove host completely from configuarion and recreate it. Now debian xen image is in running state. best regards, Antanas On 2014.03.19 20:04, Javier Fontan wrote: For Xen 4.x with xm use driver = file:. Dear community, As you may know if you tried the beta release, we are doing a facelift to Sunstone. We are now improving the refresh mechanism to improve the performance and alleviate the load Sunstone puts on OpenNebula. To remove as many refresh calls, we are going to simplify the dashboard. Right now it shows aggregated historic graphs for the VM network speed, and the Host CPU and Memory. We will change it to show only the instantaneous number of VMs in each state, and the instantaneous cpu and memory usage. Plus the existing storage, users, and network stats. Possibly, we will also add the current quota usage. The information shown by the graphs we are going to remove will be still accessible for each VM/Host in the individual info view. We'd appreciate your comments on what information you would like to see in the dashboard, for both admins and regular users. Re: [one-users] Can sunstone 4.0 be deployed on apache2 + passenger
Hi Sam, Lot of issues have been fixed since one-4.0, therefore upgrading to the last version is recommended. In OpenNebula you can run sunstone on top of apache but memcache is not supported, so you have to force only one server instance in your apache configuration, otherwise authentication won't work. The project should meet certain requirements (OSI licensed for example), but I believe OpenNebula meets al those requirements. Especially for dev.opennebula.org this would make sense, as we're provding credentials there. Gr. Are you getting an error with xm console or it just doesn't output anything? Re: [one-users] Can sunstone 4.0 be deployed on apache2 + passenger
Hi all, Thanks for your reply. I have configured one 4.0 to run in apache2 as a vhost, but there is an another issue. After I login to sunstone successfully and the dashboard is shown, the browser is directed to the login page again at once. I think it may be a misconfiguration issue. I only changed the sunstone listening ip, session is managed by memory. Any advice?
