[one-users] VNC problem

Hi all,


I have downloded novnc.sh from opennebula repository and installed it at
/srv/cloud/one/share


~/share$ sudo ./install_novnc.sh

Installing Sunstone client libraries in /usr/lib/one/sunstone/public...

Backing up and updating /etc/one/sunstone-server.conf with new VNC proxy
path...
sed: can't read /etc/one/sunstone-server.conf: No such file or directory
Backing up and updating /etc/one/occi-server.conf with new VNC proxy path...
sed: can't read /etc/one/occi-server.conf: No such file or directory
Installation successful


After successfull installation I tried to open vm but same problem vnc icon
is active but vm popup window not diplayed on screen.
I think backing up and updating the /etc/one/sunstone-server.conf with new
VNC proxy path failed is the problem?

Plz help.

Hi all


I am stuck with the vnc problem.
I installed opennebula in self contained mode at /srv/cloud/one.
I tried to install novnc at /srv/cloud/one/share $ install_novnc.sh
got error as
install_novnc.sh: command not found

I tried to ssh vm but got port 22 :connection timed out message.

I think i have to successfully ssh vm first?

[one-users] @VNC problem

Hi all


My vm status is running ,vnc icon active but vnc doesnot display vm so
tried to install vm using vm manager on host .
First used virsh list to display vms and got two vms running as output.
Then tried to start vm
Error occured  :domain is already  active.

Unable to solve this VNC issue.

Help needed.

Hi All,


I am sending the sunstone.log with this mail for vnc problem.

== Sinatra/1.3.5 has taken the stage on 9869 for development with backup

/var/lib/gems/1.8/gems/sinatra-1.3.5/lib/sinatra/base.rb:912: command not
found: /usr/share/one/noVNC  35821 oneadmin:5945

I have installed gems and noVNC successfully at /srv/cloud/one/share . I
haveadded  vnc_proxy_path: /usr/share/one/noVNC/utils for websockify in
sunstone-server.conf.
When I click on the vnc icon for running vm in sunstone nothing appears on
screen only one messgae comes that vm submitted.

I checked the sunstone.log the vnc is starting.

Tried every solution given on opennebula site and tried solutions proposed
in users mailing list present on net.

Unable to solve the problem . Plz help.

I have installed opennebula-3.6.0 on frontend and kvm on clustermachine. I
am using two machines for this setup
1]frontend-Ubuntu-12.04 Desktop
2] Host-Ubuntu-12.04-KVM enabled

When i started sunstone server the vm status is running and vnc icon is
active when i click on vnc icon then nothing appears on screen.
I cheked sunstone.log

Hi

I am using opennebula-3.6.0 on ubuntu-12.04LTS Desktop with i686 .
I have installed all required gems for sunstone, but unable to start it.
If i open sunstone.log it is empty but one file at /var i can open i.e.
sunstone.error and the error reported in that file is as follows

Error parsing config file /srv/cloud/one/etc/sunstone-server.conf: syntax
error on line 58, col 0: `: core_auth: cipher'

previously commented this line but again same error is reported
for further lines of vnc configuration .
Unable to rectify the problem.

Plz help

actually i tried to download 3.8.3 the latest release but the install.sh
not found when untared the tar file the link i have followed to download is
as follows

i want to use this latest release with ubuntu 12.04LTS-i686
