Re: [OpenSIPS-Users] Ref: Opensips is not terminating call by “BYE” instead it is sending 404 error
Hello Opensips does not responding to BYE (if you specially didn`t “ask” to do it). It just retransmit BYE to another SIP UA and wait a response from it. Once response had been got Opensips retransmit this response to the first SIP UA (witch initiated BYE). If Opensips doesn`t retransmit BYE than something wrong with BYE message or in opensips.cfg script. Our Opensips server (version1.6) is not responding to “Bye sent from termination server. This is causing the calls to not end properly as it should. By checking sample SIP traces , it shows SIP server is always responding with a 404 not found respond of termination server's Bye message and keeps on sending re-invites request. -- Best Regards + Anup AMPtel PTY LTD, ( RuvixTel ) ABN: 77 162 081 905 http://abr.business.gov.au/SearchByAbn.aspx?SearchText=77+162+081+905 Ph: +61 413 777 075 (Anup) Ph: +61 433 232 177 (Piyali) E-mail: i...@ruvixtel.net http://thedaneshproject.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Green_footers_8.gif ___ Users mailing list Users@lists.opensips.org http://lists.opensips.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/users
[OpenSIPS-Users] What sould I do/run to avoid rtpproxy ERROR while starting OpenSIPS?
Dear OpenSIPS users, I got success compiling, configuring, installing and running the OpenSIPS. Then, I took a look at the log, just to see whether every thing was 100% ok. I found: Jul 20 09:23:29 [4848] ERROR:rtpproxy:send_rtpp_command: can't send command to a RTP proxy Connection refused Jul 20 09:23:29 [4848] ERROR:rtpproxy:send_rtpp_command: proxy udp:localhost:12221 does not respond, disable it Jul 20 09:23:29 [4848] WARNING:rtpproxy:rtpp_test: can't get version of the RTP proxy Jul 20 09:23:29 [4848] WARNING:rtpproxy:rtpp_test: support for RTP proxy udp:localhost:12221 has been disabled temporarily What should I do to avoid these erros? There is no rtpproxy running in my system. (Command ps -ef |grep rtpproxy shows noting) . In my opensips config file I have: modparam(rtpproxy, rtpproxy_sock, udp:localhost:12221) # CUSTOMIZE ME Should I run rtpproxy now or the OpenSIPS should have started it for me? Is that port '12221' a kind of standard value? Any hint will be very helpful! Best regards. Re: [OpenSIPS-Users] What sould I do/run to avoid rtpproxy ERROR while starting OpenSIPS?
Hi, If you need media passing through your OpenSIPS box then you need RTPproxy, if not then comment this rtpproxy line as well as any other rtpproxy module functions. OpenSIPS don't run this rtpproxy automatically and 12221 is not a standard port for this. [OpenSIPS-Users] Drouting Probing broken 1.11.1
Hi All, when implementing gateway probing type (2) - probing all the time. If disabled, the destination will be automatically re-enabled when the probing will succeed next time; If a gateway fails it does not come back automatically. I have to go into the DB, set state to 0 and reload drouting. Upon reloading I see opensips probe the gateway and get a response which keeps it active. ___ Users mailing list Users@lists.opensips.org http://lists.opensips.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/users
