Re: [OpenSIPS-Users] [RELEASE] OpenSIPS 2.4.6 Minor Version

2019-10-22 Thread Jeff Wilkie
We've been sitting on 2.4.0 in the lab for a while and would like to update
to 2.4.6 or latest LTS. Originally installed with a tar file, can we
update without having to completely reinstall or migrate? Can you link the
procedure if so?

Thank you

Re: [OpenSIPS-Users] Opensips 3.0 load display

2019-10-22 Thread Răzvan Crainea

Hi, Ben!

The rl_list[1] command does show both the CPS of the previous second and
the threshold. So indeed, if you are looking for an average CPS within
the last minute for example, that is not possible - all you can get is
the current second CPS (calls that were received during the previous
second).

Razvan,

I am curious about this. I can see how you can use the ratelimit module to
reject calls based on calls per second, or any configured window, but Mehdi was
asking about reporting it as a statistic. I can't see any way to get the value
out of the ratelimit module for use elsewhere; it only seems possible to
perform a query of whether it is over some configured threshold, not get the
value itself.

 Hi, Mehdi!

If you want to measure the Calls per second, you will have to use the

ratelimit module[1], which is able to count the calls per second, if you
 choose a window_size & slot_period [2] values that result in 1 second
 window.
