Once formatted, this is very interesting. It doesn't quite solve the problem I started with, which that the plain POM version of this project is not OSGi friendly, even before we get to -SNAPSHOT.
But it's way cooler than just sticking .SNAPSHOT on the end, so I'm going to combine it with my other solution.
