Yes there is.

When you select the picture Right Click with your mouse and there is a 
menu where you can anchor and align the picture.
When you select Picture there are many other options, just have a play 
with them.

However an update gave suddenly different standard collars.


Which update changed the colors? IS it a Windows update or OpenOffice

On a old computer I could get the, yellow bleu and red numbers from 
the old collars and entered them in the collarsceme. 


Colors you change in Tools -> Options -> OpenOffice -> Colors are stored in
C:\Users\{user 
name}\AppData\Roaming\OpenOffice\4\user\config\standard.soc for Windows 10


So far no problem every thing went fine. However, every few weeks, 
somthing happens, a update I persume en than every thing is back in 
the new standard collors, which ik can not Use and al changes in the 
standard collars, or the new collars I ad to is are dissapeared.


We don't know what happen at your system, but just copy the the 
standard.soc file after you changed anything
in OpenOffice so you have a way to restore the values when something 
damage your color settings.

This way you can at least see if the problem is related to OpenOffice.



It is verry verry irritating. Why are the new collars I add, not save 
for an update, as other things and settings?

I'm happy to do, but the extensions are stored on your system.
Why not trying it yourself?
Go to Tools -> Extension Manager from there select an extension and you 
see an option to Remove or Disable it.

dictionary missing for spell checker

Suddenly dictionary/spell checker in writer seems OK in spread sheet
I have uninstalled o/office then downloaded latest version and reinstalled it.
Still no dictionary/spell checker  all words underlined “NOT IN DICTIONARY”
