hi.
if you need to use microsoft publisher format for your work,
libreoffice supports it.
you can open publisher format with libreoffice, but i did not test it
and dont know how can you edit them and how is the quality.

Yes, but there will be a learning curve.  OpenOffice is not an MS Word or MS 
Publisher clone.  It is free, so it will only cost you time.

Lässt sich denn das JRE überhaupt aktivieren?

nach Update auf JRE 1.8.0_144, 32bit, stürzt AOO 4.1.3. ab oder gibt 
folgenden Fehler raus:


Die Verbindung zur Datenquelle "***Datenbank" konnte nicht hergestellt 
werden.


SQL-Status: S1000
Fehler-Code: -78

error in script file line: 3 File input/output errorerror 
java.io.IOException: Stream is not valid opening file - file 
C:\Users\***\Documents\***Datenbank.odb.data in statement [CREATE CACHED 
TABLE "Adressen"]


Auch die Installation einer anderen JRE  1.8.0_66 , De- und erneute 
Installation von AOO 4.1.3., laden der gesicherten Datenbank, 
Versuchsinstallation von LO 5.3, Systemrücksetzung von Win 10 Pro, 32bit 
Betriebssystem, x64-basierter Prozessor, leider immer mit dem gleichen 
Ergebnis.


Nun bin ich ratlos und hoffe auf Eure Unterstützung.

wenn ich ein Dokument öffenen möchte, egal ob Text- oder Tabelle, öffnet 
es sich nicht. Es erscheint: Keine Rückmeldung.

Wie kann ich das Problem beheben?
Für eine schnelle Hilfe wäre ich dankbar.
