Hallo Gisela, noch eine Überlegung, wo du deinen Text möglicherweise wieder finden kannst. Im Menü Extras kannst du unter Optionen > OpenOffice > Pfade nachsehen, wo das Programm temporäre Dateien speichert. Da du das Dokument noch nicht mit einen Namen gespeichert hast, müsste in diesem Verzeichnis eine Datei mit der Bezeichnung: unbenannt_xy.odt oder untitled_xy.odt (oder ähnlich) zu finden sein. Diese Datei kannst du ganz normal öffnen. Dann aber bitte sofort mit einem Namen in deinem entsprechenden Dokumentverzeichnis speichern. Larry, Right click (control click) on file, choose Open With, navigate to Writer and Open. If you want this to happen to all “Word” files then check the box for all similar files. Hallo Gisela, hinterher ist man immer schlauer und hat viel Arbeit wegen solcher Versäumnisse. Unbedingt eine Datei / Dokument sofort mit Namen speichern, auch wenn noch nichts drin steht. Mir ist übrignes nicht klar, wie es sein kann, Du einerseits sagst, Du hättest den Text wiederholt gespeichert, aber nicht unter "speichern unter", sondern offenbar woanders. Wo wäre das denn? Win hat ja eine ganze Latte von Ordnern, in die gespeichert werden kann (siehe Explorer > zB Dokumente, Recent usw) Hast Du da schon mal nachgesehen? Und wenn du schon ca 30 Seiten geschrieben hast, weißt du ja sicher eine Handvoll Stichwörter, aus diesem Dokument nach denen Du suchen kannst. Es gibt eine Reihe Programme (auch gratis) mit denen Du gezielt nach Wörtern suchen kannst. Eines davon ist zB DocFetcher (http://docfetcher.sourceforge.net/de/index.html) Damit solltest Du den Text finden. Good Morning, I recently installed your Open Office 4.1.7 So far, it has worked well. Today, I ran into a snag. I received an e-mail with a word document attached. When I click on the attachment, it opens up, but a moment later another screen opens up on top of it, asking me to subscribe to Office 365. If I close that screen, it also closes the attachment. How do I get to open the attachment in Open Office? I probably have the same issue if the attachment is an excel spreadsheet. I am using Windows 10. Thank you, Larry Tanzer
