All content that ypu create in Apache OpenOffice is created on your 
computer and is yours only. It is only stored on your system unless you 
decide to put it elsewhere.

Are you running the lasted version 4.1.14?

I know you said you removed it, but make sure you're also installing the 
latest version.


I too get frustrated sometimes, but then I remind myself it's free and 
does what I want & need. Also keep in mind that anyone who is helping 
you is doing so as a volunteer. None of us are employees of OpenOffice.


If the above doesn't help, try to remember exactly what you were doing 
when it crashed.


Are you in Cal, Writer, and what was the last action you took. It could 
be a bug.

Open Office Crashes

I have a home office, no administrator.  How am I to proceed.  I joined
your group but have not gotten any responses from the blog

I have Windows 10, have used openoffice for years,  but now it crashes a
while after opening and using the program.  Today it crashed before I even
got to open the page I wanted.  I tried removing and re-installing it.
Please help me.
