It's because it's not a terribly good decision to make, signing up to Apache I 
mean. I receive a scrillion emails every day about various crashouts. I can't 
do bugger all about it, I can't even stop the emails. All I did was sign up.

Dear Gary,

I`ve been attempting to unsubscribe from this bloody awful website for 
approximately two and a half years, I get absolutely nowhere. If I ask how to, 
then I receive, unhelpful, sarcastic or downright rude comments from various 
people who I don`t know. I rue the day I ever downloaded Apache, it`s rubbish 
anyway and regularly doesn't` do what it says on the tin. I usually mark my 
emails as phishing scam in the fond hope that it will eventually p*** someone 
at Apache off as much as they have me.  Good luck!

I have been trying to unsubscribe from time to time, for about two years, 
nothing I do works and I continue to receive a gazillion emails most weeks. 
It`s very tiresome and if I object I generally receive really abusive mails 
from various people unknown, telling me how incredibly stupid I am.  So good

Basically, steps are as follows:
1, Unsubscribe from current list
2, Subscribe to digest list in case you like to receive digest mails
instead of each email as you are receive from current subscription
3, It is also possible to look at all discussions without subscribing to
any list.
