Question

2021-02-14 Thread Pam
I am creating a document to save in Open Office. I have made several entries
with no problem, but now a space is automatically skipped between characters
and no matter how I try, I can’t get it to stop. Here is an example: Pam F
armer. When I backspace, it deletes the F and when I type it again, it does
the same thing. Help! Thank you. I love this program and have used it for
years, and will continue to. It does everything I need to do.

For sometime now, I cannot manually check for updates. When I try, I get this
message “Checking for an update failed.Error reading data from the
Internet. Server error message:”

printing double sided from Writer?

2016-03-05 Thread pam...@candeaconsulting.co.uk
Hi

I coud print my documents double sided from Word. There seems to be no way I
can select double sided when printing from Writer. I assume I am missing
something. Equally couldn't find anything relevant on the forum.

I have Windows 7 and an HP Office Jet Pro 8600

thanks much

Pam

Question regarding 4.1.2

2015-11-08 Thread Jim and Pam Thomas
I have been prompted to update my Open Office 4.1.1 to 4.1.2. If I do so, will
it change any options/features I have already set in 4.1.1? It took me some
effort to include all the various options, etc I have now. So, if it will
change anything, will be satisfied to stay with 4.1.1. Thanks.
P.S. I have used Microsoft Word, but your writer is just as good or even
better in some ways. Quite satisfied with it.
