Change Read Only Document

I got a form to fill out. It's a Word .doc. I have Apache Open Office
4.1.1. On Windows 7.

I've saved it as, but that doesn't change it from read-only, and I need to
fill it out.

Just SAVE it using a new name (such as to your desktop).  Then edit the the
new file.
