I kept clicking things and the problem suddenly "corrected itself". I can't recall which click did the trick. I'm reluctant to "unclick" whatever I did, for fear of being stuck in the original mess. W/10 and DOC files
Installed AOO on a new HP running Windows/10. I think I have it set up to accept MS Offfice files as well as Apache OpenOffice files. I get message saying "You tried to use OFFICE but don't have OFFICE". If I try to use "Open with", WRITER is not shown as an option. Maurice Howe
