Embedded link
Hi, I've got a link to one of my files embedded in a spreadsheet. I don't know how it got there and I want to get rid of it. It's not associated with any cell but it is always in the same place in the spreadsheet. I can't select it by right clicking my mouse and left clicking opens windows explorer at the referenced file. Can anyone tell me how to remove this embedded link, please? John.
Re: Embedded link
Thank you Joost. It was a form control object and is now deleted. Kind Regards, John. Re: Open Office
I had that problem after I updated Open Office. I had to disable Avast Ransomeware Shield to get documents unlocked. All other Avast and McAfee protections stayed in place. File locked for editing by unknown user
I've just activated the RansomeWare option in my AntiVirus program and now get the message "File locked for editing by unknown user" when I try to open an existing text or spreadsheet. I can open a copy, edit that, and save it with a new file name. But how can I unlock my files to continue using the original file names?
