If I do: service wdmd stop the server will reboot. It seems the watchdog is hung up and eventually this will lead to a crash and thus a reboot instead of the shutdown. Anyone knows how to debug this? Did you get anywhere with this? Pretty nasty. Is there a bug open? We're getting a timeout on an NFS mount during the powerdown (single-node hosted, after global maintenance enabled and engine powered off), and that makes the machine reboot and try to come back up again instead of powering off. So two issues: - What is the mount that is hanging (probably an oVirt issue)? Don´t know what that problem is. I have a local nfs mount but don´t experience that problem I got to the console when mine went for a reboot. I see sanlock and wdmd failing to shutdown properly which would explain why it doesn't unmount properly. - Why does the system reboot instead of powering down as instructed (?)? the reboot is caused by wdmd. Docs says that if the watchdogs aren´t responding that a reset will follow. So our init 0 is overruled because of the hanging watchdog. Why it is hanging I don´t know. Could be my chipset, could be the version of wdmd-kernel. Only thing is I know it didn´t happen always in the past but that is as much as I remember, sorry. [ovirt-users] Dashboard Button inside Administrator Portal redirects to Specified page not found
Hi all, My problem is that the Dasboard Button inside the Administrator Portal redirects me to an empty page where Specified page not found is displayed. All the rest (e.g. clicking on show reports) inside the Adminitrator Portal redirects me to the correct site for the Engine Report, so SSO its ok as well. I´m also able to login as admin user to the Engine Report Site directly, but in that case I´m not getting the Create Button, I see only the Home, View and Manage Buttons. Also if I´m clicking on on the left site to Resources, Webadmin Dashboards, CE it looks ok, the only Problem is that I can only choose Default and not my defined names I´m running oVirt 3.4.1 with Jasper 5.5.0 based on Build: 20131024_0957 at different sites and all of them have the same problem. I could not find any Root Cause for it, so I hope that someone else can help me to find out whats wrong in my systems Thanks in advance, Christian ___ Users mailing list Users@ovirt.org http://lists.ovirt.org/mailman/listinfo/users

Re: [ovirt-users] Live Migration Fail
Hi Maurice Maor, I had exactly the same issue and in order to fix it I implemented the below workaround, hope I will not have any further problems with it… But you have to keep in mind that the Snapshot are not getting deleted afterwards, I think this issue is targeted for Release 3.5 with the Feature “Live Merge” Workaround: I installed in Force Mode all qemu*5.8.x86*.rpm Packages from http://jenkins.ovirt.org/view/All/job/qemu-kvm-rhev_create-rpms_el6/lastStableBuild/ http://jenkins.ovirt.org/view/All/job/qemu-kvm-rhev_create-rpms_el6/lastStableBuild/ on the physical hosts (BTW my hosts are running on CentOS 6.5 with latest yum updates). see also: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1009100 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1009100 http://lists.ovirt.org/pipermail/users/2014-April/023132.html http://lists.ovirt.org/pipermail/users/2014-April/023132.html br, Christian From: Maurice James [mailto:mja...@media-node.com] Sent: Samstag, 10. I created a DataCenter: -- Type: Shared Compatibility Versio: 3.4 Quota Mode: disabled 2.) i created the Cluster -- Compatibility Version: 3.4 Enable Virt Service: yes Enable Gluster Service: yes 3.) i added two hosts - - they are up and running How can i now add my volumes and bricks? I dont have the exspected Volumes Tab to add Bricks. If i go to Storage i can only add Data / GlusterFS with a path to mount glusterfs. I guess this is for already existing gluster shares? Does it not work like this on page 15,16,17? http://www.ovirt.org/images/5/59/Ovirt-fosdem2013-gluster.pdf Thanks, Mario ___ Users mailing list Users@ovirt.org http://lists.ovirt.org/mailman/listinfo/users
