You can manage your oVirt gluster volumes from the oVirt engine UI.

However, the gluster volumes cannot be on your oVirt hosts. An oVirt Host
cannot be an oVirt-managed gluster volume provider as well. These are
separate, physical hosts in oVirt = 3.5.1.

Hope that helps.

That should do it, or even just putting the storage into maintenance
rather than detaching it, then retry importing the vms you still need.

The problem lies with machines that have already been imported once before.

Thanks

Funny part is, I only had one storage domain… and I imported it back into
the engine… I’m confused.

Hi Donny,

Are there any additional details accompanying this error in the engine
log? It sounds like a bug, just not yet sure where to look.

As for a possible hack/workaround (maybe someone else will have a
safer/easier idea here!), the OVFs holding the domain ids in question are
in a tarball on the imported storage. If the import failure is happening
because the storageId in the OVFs is wrong, it should be possible to
update them to the correct value and retry the import.

Note that by default the tarball is on the storage in 2 places--I'd change
them both, but of course don't forget to make a backup first.

HTH,
Greg

The Both in the --== OVIRT ENGINE CONFIGURATION ==-- section of the
engine-setup refers to if you will have both oVirt KVM Host clusters as well
as Gluster Volume clusters. Both does not mean that you will have the
Gluster storage daemon and KVM on the same host, as that configuration is not
supported nor recommended.

Hope that helps.

Hi Punit,

We are aware of time issue with the way China time is being dealt differently
in Postgres and Java and will work to fix this.
This is the reason we recommend for now to use UTC time for the servers.

Yes...you are right but earlier my server date is behind the
lasthouraggr.such as the server time is 3:00 AM but when i check the
lasthouraggr in the database it was 14:00..it should be 1:00 AM...that's
 why i manually updated it...

As name suggested lasthouraggr that means it should be lower then your
 current server time...

Have you mounted this NFS share on any other machine, or the localhost

Does the NFS share have the correct permissions

chown –R 36:36 /path/to/nfs/share

I have setup the engine many times, and never had this type of issue…
