contribute in our own private capacity but the law must be left to take its 
course.

We can also count ourselves fortunate to have a stable and competent government 
for, if not, we might be the needy ones needing charity in other countries.

If I recall correctly you need to pass the parameter lanplus=1. This has
also been answered in the past thus google might help find that thread.

I guess  nobody has experienced such behaviour.
I'm pretty sure that initial size of the disk was 100GB and after setting 
increase by 40 , I see size of 140GB - but my Linux and qemu-img see it as 
180GB.

Anyone able to guide me through ?

Maybe an update to 4.3.3 will solve it?

Maybe I should open a bug, but what module is affecting me?

In case someone had the same problem I did 2 things:
1. Decreased the number of cpu cores and memory for the VM
2. Disabled network interfaces in the installer (I think this actually helped 
but I will confirm tomorrow. One interface had IP from DHCP but no internet 
connection without proxy)

[ovirt-users] Cannot get IPMI fencing to work on CIMC

Hi,



I have some Cisco C-220M4 servers with CIMC (not connected to UCS fabric).



I can get the fencing to work on the command line like this



fence_ipmilan -a XXX -l YYY -p ZZZ --hexadecimal-kg=ABC -o status -P



But when I try to configure & test in the Engine UI I get, "Test failed: 
Internal JSON-RPC error".



Obviously the wrong parameters are being passed to the script, but I cannot 
find a log anywhere which will show me the parameters being used. Anyone else 
got IPMI working on CIMC?

Hello, 

I installed oVirt 4.3.2, added NFS ISO domain and trying to create Fedora 26 VM.
The installer starts but is stuck on "Installation Source Setting up 
installation source..." on the "INSTALLATION SUMMARY" screen.
I cannot find any useful information in logs. 
Do you have any idea what can cause the issue and how to fix that?

[ovirt-users] What to do now that hypertension drug has been recalled?

I was shocked to learn that the hypertension drug Losartas, which has been 
prescribed to me by a SingHealth polyclinic for more than 10 years, has been 
recalled by the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) as it contains higher than 
acceptable levels of a potentially harmful impurity (3 brands of high blood 
pressure drug recalled, March 29). https://www.yahoo112.com

The advice given to me when I called the SingHealth hotline was even more 
disconcerting, as the operators told me to continue taking the drug until they 
contact me with the next course of action depending on the date of my next 
appointment, as there is no evidence that the drug causes any harm.

I am extremely confused, as this seems akin to telling me that the food I am 
taking is potentially contaminated, but I should continue eating or I risk 
dying of hunger.

Any sensible person upon reading the news of the recall would have stopped 
taking the drug immediately.

So I am left with the dilemma of whether to take the drug.

We thank Mr Pavithran Vidyadhran for his feedback (Install grab bars in rental 
flats, March 22).

The Housing Board has various programmes to retrofit flats, including public 
rental flats, to make them senior-friendly. For example, under the Enhancement 
for Active Seniors (Ease) Programme, residents can choose to have grab bars 
installed and slip-resistant floor treatment applied to their toilets and

They can also have ramps installed to navigate level differences in the flat 
and at the main entrance, where technically feasible.

The Government subsidises up to 95 per cent of the cost of Ease for Singapore 
citizen flat owners. For tenants of HDB rental flats, the cost will be fully 
funded by the Government.

The oVirt Project is pleased to announce the availability of the oVirt
4.3.3 Third Release Candidate, as of April 9th, 2019.

This update is a release candidate of the third in a series of
stabilization updates to the 4.3 series.
This is pre-release software. This pre-release should not to be used in
production.

This release is available now on x86_64 architecture for:
* Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.6 or later
* CentOS Linux (or similar) 7.6 or later

This release supports Hypervisor Hosts on x86_64 and ppc64le architectures
for:
* Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.6 or later
* CentOS Linux (or similar) 7.6 or later
* oVirt Node 4.3 (available for x86_64 only)

Experimental tech preview for x86_64 and s390x architectures for Fedora 28
is also included.

See the release notes [1] for installation / upgrade instructions and
a list of new features and bugs fixed.

It would seem this is a bug in 4.3.? - As upgrading the old oVirt HE to 4.3 
(from 4.2.latest) now means that the export of VMs to export domain no longer 
works.

Again qemu-img convert is using some cpu, but no network. Progress is 0.

Same here, also ovs-vswitchd uses 80-97% cpu. Is there already a bug for

Upon completion of its investment objectives, Temasek exited its Hyflux

I was diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis in 2016 and have had two 
procedures done on my left and right elbows in the past three years. I see my 
rheumatologist every three months and experience pain occasionally in other

I also had sustained feet pain and underwent physiotherapy for a year. These 
medical conditions have never stopped me from participating in my school's 
overseas service trips and expeditions because there are ways to manage them 
(Student campers with trolleys spark debate, March 17).

Last year, my classmates and I trekked in Tioman with 10kg backpacks. The trip 
entailed crossing log bridges and abseiling from a small cliff.

These outdoor trips are meant to get us out of our comfort zones and push our 
limits. Let's celebrate our youth and not let any weight bear us down.

A recent survey found that some 15 per cent of Singaporeans found Muslims 
threatening, and that those who live in private housing were more likely to 
think this way (15% of respondents find Muslims threatening, March 29).

This points to one striking, positive inference: The Government's policy of 
racial integration in public housing has been remarkably successful.

Singaporeans of all races, religions and denominations are now interacting with 
one another daily, and this has led to the weaving of a cohesive national 
identity.

People living in private properties may not have as much a chance of living

streams and social media to form opinions about other races.

As it is not practical to implement racial quotas on private properties, the 
solution lies in creating more opportunities and spaces for people of all walks 
of life to interact through schools, hospitals and community spaces.

In more than 35 years as a doctor in Singapore, I have never felt more 
despondent as now and I am certainly not alone in losing confidence in how 
self-regulation is administered by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC).

Three recent SMC cases have shocked doctors:

•A 2017 case when paediatrician Chia Foong Lian was suspended for three months 
for missing a difficult diagnosis;

•A case this year when orthopaedic surgeon Lim Lian Arn was fined $100,000 for 
failing to tell his patient that a steroid injection could have side-effects 
such as discolouration of the skin; and

•A breach of confidentiality case this year, when psychiatrist Soo Shuenn 
Chiang was fined $50,000 for writing a memo to get a patient admitted to the 
Institute of Mental Health.

What followed were unprecedented petition drives by the hitherto conservative 
medical professionals, who signed three petitions consisting of 1,000, 6,400 
and 8,400 signatures in the three cases respectively.

The doctors I know who signed the petitions are serious-minded people who do 
not put ink to paper lightly as their professional reputations are at stake.

The Ministry of Health formed a work group last month to review the taking of 
informed consent and the SMC disciplinary process.

I'd suggest to
1. enable the global maintenance mode on host side
2. manually start the engine VM with hosted-engine --vm-start
3. double check the boot process over VNC

Maybe something like a failing fsck is preventing the VM from correctly
booting.

I'd suggest to start connecting to the engine VM via ssh / serial console
(hosted-engine --console) / VNC (hosted-engine --add-console-password # and
then point your VNC client to the address shown there).
Then check the status of ovirt-engine service with
systemctl status ovirt-engine

[ovirt-users] Hosted-engine inaccessible

Hi,

I am currently experiencing a problem with my Hosted-engine. Hosted-engine
disconnected after increasing / partition. The increase went well but after
some time the hosted-enigine VM disconnected and has since been giving
alerts such as* re-initializingFSM*.

Though VMs underneth are running, Hosted-engine --vm-status:

There is no backup to restore at the moment. I am looking for a way to
