[ovirt-users] Removal of snapshot taking too long
Hi, i don't know if its normal but i'm having situations where i have to wait almost 45 minutes to delete a live snapshot from a offline vm (my datastores are all NFS). Is there any way i can speed this? The problem is that i can't start the correspondent vm until the snapshot is deleted... I have removed vdsm and libvirt from that host before the reinstalation
of the host in ovirt engine but the problem persists with s1 respawn:
slave '/usr/share/vdsm/vdsm --pidfile /var/run/vdsm/vdsmd.pid' died too
quickly, respawning slave.
i have put the new log referring to this instalation in

As far as I can tell, the error boils down to the following
lines from your host-deploy log:

so you might want to try to re-deploy (click reinstall in webadmin)

Are you sure they weren't started(maybe by someone else)?

Hi, I'm trying to move a disk of a virtual machine administration (that is online) to a different nfs storage, but despite the success of the task Creating VM Snapshot Auto-generated for Live Storage Migration for VM administration in the web page of ovirt engine, it doesn't move the disk to the new storage. Hi, after i had successfully migrated the disks to a different nfs datastore, i now have a vm with 3 snapshots: 1 current with the description Active VM and 2 more with the description Auto-generated for Live Storage. For what i have been reading online, i can only delete snapshots with the vm offline. is this true? Second, should i commit the live storage snapshots before i delete them or its safe to delete them without commit?
