There are no errors. Exact Error Error while executing action: Cannot update cluster because the update triggered update of the VMs/Templates and it failed for the following: HostedEngine. Hi, The problem is that - i can't change anything in HostedEngine VM. There was a long list of VMs with incorrect settings - I was able to fix them. Now there is only one - HostedEngine. [ovirt-users] Change Cluster CPU type
We are using oVirt for several years. And we start with Xeon v2 CPUs. At this moment of time we got all v3 aтв we will chnage them to v4 in a month. So i would like to change Cluster default CPU to Haswell, But got error with custom cpu on HostedEngine. HostedEngine config is locked. Is there a solution to chnage HostedEngine cpu type? [ovirt-users] Can't Create VM from Template in VM portal
We are trying to orginize self manage VM portal for our customers. And there is VM portal in oVirt. What did we do - Create user, Crate group, create quota, create Vm template. All permissions by default + VmCreator (to allow user create disks from template). [ovirt-users] Not able to asign IB network to IB Bond
Hi all,
We are using oBirt since 4.2.
Config is 1Gb or 10G for VM ext network and 40Gb IB for Starage and VM
Migration.
We are testing 4.4 and 4.4.0 at the moment.
2 problems
- Major problem is that i can't assign IB netwrok to IB bond i got - "Error
while executing action HostSetupNetworks: Unexpected exception"

2nd problem
- IB bond not working after reboot - theres is no bond1 insterface at all (my
solution is to restart network)
This is not very important as VDSM will change config after Adding bond to
oVirt.
P.S.
I Got 100% same config with same cards and samу bond config on 4.3 -
everething is wotking fine.

Hi, Resently I configure oVirt, FreeIPA and Windows Guest VM. I would like to SSO to Windows VM thrue VM portal or Rest API (dowloading spice config) or Admin Port ... I don't see any login attemps in log file, errors, or ... I found a lot of docs for SSO setup - it is so simple (Agent, Correct Domain name in login profile ...), But at the end i found that SSO module was deleted from 4.3 agent. Is it true? Some details, step by step. Install OS, Install OFED, Create Bond for ib0 and ib1 - bond0 Set IP to bond0, and MTU to 65520. Add Host to oVirt Cluster At this moment of time everything is Fine. Next step. Assign New network to bond0, oVirt set MTU to 1500, and ... That is all. No storage, No IP. I can't change MTU to 2044 or 65520 and can't assign IP to IB interface. Hi, I got a config with IB Storage (IPoIB). I would like to extend IB usage to OVN network, but trying to do this i find some problems ... Problem #1 (IPoIB Storage Network) I configure IPoIB Before adding to oVirt cluster (I did it using Cockpit) Create [Bond], assign IP, change MTU. At this moment of time everything is fine... But - I am not able to assign IP/MTU using oVirt Cluster. And I can't perform any changes using Cockpit as IB interfaces are "Unmanaged Interfaces". Problem #1.1 It will be great to avoid users adding IPoIB networks using brctl, as it will not work... [ovirt-users] Quota Actual Consumption
Hi, Is it possible to configure oVirt to work Quota with actual vCPU Consumption. Currently i got 1 VM with 2 vCPU and 8Gb. In VM stats - 0% of CPU in use 0% of RAM in Use (it is fresh Linux instalaltion) In Quota consumption i can see 40% of CPU (vCPU quota = 5) 27% of RAM (Memory quota 30Gb) Is it possible to adjust Quata management to work with Actual workload, instead of VM Configuration? P.S.
