[ovirt-users] OVN Geneve tunnels not been established
Hi all We have a small installation based on OVIRT 4.3. 1 Cluster is based on Centos 7 and the other on OVIRT NG Node image. The environment was stable till an upgrade took place a couple of months ago. As such we had to re-install one of the Centos 7 node and start from scratch. Even though the installation completed successfully and VMs are created, the following are not working as expected: 1. ovn geneve tunnels are not established with the other Centos 7 node in the cluster. 2. Centos 7 node is configured by ovirt engine however no geneve tunnel is established when "ovn-sbctl show" is issued on the engine. 3. no flows are shown on the engine on port 6642 for the ovs db. Does anyone have any experience on how to troubleshoot OVN on ovirt? [ovirt-users] Centos based Ovirt 4.3.10.4-1.el7, VMs cannot communicate over VM networks
Hi all Can anyone point into the right direction on how to troubleshoot VM connectivity between VM networks? The nodes have been double-installed from the engine. The external ovn-provider is reachable through HTTP. ovs-vsctl shows the interfaces once a VM is booted. However, no traffic is passed between VMs. Any help is greatly appreciated. ___ Users mailing list -- users@ovirt.org To unsubscribe send an email to users-le...@ovirt.org Privacy Statement: https://www.ovirt.org/privacy-policy.html oVirt Code of Conduct: https://www.ovirt.org/community/about/community-guidelines/ List Archives: https://lists.ovirt.org/archives/list/users@ovirt.org/message/J2RIQUGR6VJRITBXWDFURFHPABUFKCN4/

Hi all So came back with a totally messed up network situation. VM Networks are completely broken and as such no VMs can start. [ovirt-users] Re: Ovirt SYSTEM user does not allow deletion of VM networks
I've deleted them from the cluster as well but re-appear. I've removed ovirt-engine through engine-cleanup installed again and they reappear. Removed ovirt-engine deleted all "ovirt*" files and currenty trying to re-install. I've checked the host's ovs-vsctl bridges and only the desired are shown. So i believe it's an issue on the engine itself. ___ Users mailing list -- users@ovirt.org To unsubscribe send an email to users-le...@ovirt.org Privacy Statement: https://www.ovirt.org/privacy-policy.html oVirt Code of Conduct: https://www.ovirt.org/community/about/community-guidelines/ List Archives: https://lists.ovirt.org/archives/list/users@ovirt.org/message/KAJDPHLVJUMEPEEMUHLM46BYGJR5W2OH/
[ovirt-users] Ovirt SYSTEM user does not allow deletion of VM networks
While trying to delete some VM networks from ovirt-node they are re-installed from the SYSTEM user with the generation of the respective event message.
