[Users] Unable to add host - Error looking up infinispan/ovirt-engine

I do not see any host-deploy log file on engine. I did use add host capability of webadmin to add the host. I have since reinstalled F18 on the host and installed VDSM using latest RPMs. But ran into same situation. If you like you can try upcoming new packaging[1][2] and provide some feedback. Alon, I appreciate your quick responses. Thank you. So far I have been using wiki page - http://www.ovirt.org/Building_oVirt_engine and for eclipse - http://www.ovirt.org/Building_oVirt_Engine/IDE for engine development and its worked well, except I never actually installed OS on my VMs. This is the first time doing it and its failing. Are you suggesting that I stop using above wiki and instead use otopi [1][2]? My main struggle right now is to add another fedora machine as host and create VMs and run those VMs. There are various wikis/web pages that are out there to get one up and running with VDSM, but its always been touch and go. Can you suggest one that works for F18 host? [Users] Cannot add host - non-responsive.
I am trying to add a fedora18 host to an engine that was built from source. SElinux and firewalld are disabled/stopped on both the fedora boxes. I can ping between the two machines using IP and FQDN. But when I go to add the host it gets connection refused error and goes non-responsive. Here are the engine logs. Any Clues? We upgraded it to 3.1 and tried to add a Tivoli DS to it by running engine-manage-domains -action=add. But was surprised to see the error that itds is not supported and the only supported ones are ipa, rhds and AD. I am thinking that it is possible that something did not go right with the upgrade from 3.0 to 3.1. I am preparing a fresh f17 with ovirt 3.1 to test again. [Users] Adding LDAP server directly with its FQDN.
Hi, Is there a way to directly add an LDAP server to ovirt? Currently I run engine-manage-domains with -domain=domain-name. This finds all the ldap servers in the domain. I am running ovirt-engine on 3 different rhel6.2 machines. I used http://www.ovirt.org/wiki/Building_Ovirt_Engine page and installed jboss from zips (manually).
