iirc, so the default template will have a cluster, as null is not allowed.
michal - maybe with template verisons or instance types this will now be
possible (as cluster can be null for one of them iirc)?

Hello,

I just finnished installing a new ovirt all in one installation and I noticed

A default one and a local_datacenter. I don't understand why I have 2
datacenters but I suppose I can delete one.

Default is always created. Normal setups start with just it, and others can be
created if needed.

local_datacenter is all-in-one-specific - you were asked about it during setup
- name, location etc.
It's local in that it uses a local directory on the host, so VMs on it cannot
be migrated to other
hosts if/when you add them.

Yes. We can now remove quite a few limitations specific to the blank template.
Thinking of renaming it to default and allow editing and versioning it.
You can't delete it at the moment though

Thanks,

I am testing all-in-one as well and noticed that for local data center
I can only created data domain. Iso and export domains can only be
imported.

Is it by design?

During creation of local data domain it fails with permission error
but it runs successfully second time (I tried twice).

I am not sure whether this is all-in-one related but I am not able to
open spice console due to: Unable to connect to the graphic server.

I wanted to check the same from virt-manager and I got: viewer
connection to hypervisor host got refused or disconnected.

Seems so, not sure it makes sense (to me).

Ohad now opened [1] for this, on iso domains.

During creation of local data domain it fails with permission error
but it runs successfully second time (I tried twice).

That's weird too, but perhaps a different issue (data and not iso).
