this looks like it could be our (libvirt's) error. Do you have any logs
that could help me go through this more closely?
I'm in a process of setting up a lab with ovirt to help in exactly
these kind of situations, but unfortunately it's not working yet.

thanks for your answer, I found the error : it was from vm which I
imported from libvirt/kvm with virtv2v. These vms were created by
virt-manager and were running default cirrus xorg driver, while ovirt
creates qxl one as default. I've changed this on each concerned vms. Now
live migration successes everytime.
Hope it will be useful for people who will be in the same case.

Thank you as well. Even though you managed to fix that (and I'm glad for
that), this shouldn't happen or at least there should be a better error
message. I'll have a look at it to make sure we'll do something about that.
@Dave: do you think it would be good to turn this into BZ even before I
make sure this is our error?

Having a BZ is always helpful; we can always correct the component
later if our initial guess as to where the problem lies turn out to be
wrong.
