The qemu venom vulnerability put me back to the topic. Just in case someone is interested. The following patch breaks live migration between 2.1.2 and 2.1.3. pc: Fix disabling of vapic for compat PC models http://git.qemu.org/?p=qemu.git;a=commit;h=8100812711ea480119f9796bd6c0895e6ac85d0f I dropped this one during rebuild and now everything works fine again.
