OK - so if I understand correctly - now that everything is moved off of the Master, I can put it into maintenance mode and this will cause a new Master election - am I prompted for the new master or does it select another available data domain? You don't need to remove it, the vm data will be available on the OVF_STORE disks on the other SD, where you copied the disks to. Once you put the domain in maintenance and new master SD will be elected.
