I think "less" is a more appropriate tool for logs.

Didi just published an interesting article about it:

There is also http://lnav.org/ which has builtin support for vdsm and engine
logs.

Good place to start is /var/log/vdsm/vdsm.log on the host where
the vm was running, and on the host the vm was migrating to.

Look for the UUID of the VM, you should be able to follow the migration
process
on both sides.

When you find more info you can add it here.
