Perhaps using google drive? Perhaps split the file (if nothing else,
with 'split -b')?

Sorry for the long delay, I've run the soslogcollector and created a file with
a size of 30.9MB. My ISP severally restricts my upload speed to DropBox and
the bug reporting system for Red Hat won't let me upload a file more than
19.2MB.

Do you have any suggestion how I might get the Log Collector file to oVirt
Support?

Thanks

Hi,

Could you please create a bug for the oVirt project on
https://bugzilla.redhat.com and attach logs from your oVirt Engine using
sos logcollector?

Thanks,
Martin

I've re-installed oVirt 4.4.4 without capital letter, I continue to get the
same results. Do you have any idea of where to start looking for a solution?
What could the error message "Internal Server Error" be coming from, "oVirt",
"FireFox Browser" or "Apache Server". Where do I start looking? Nothing seems
to be working at this point, my OS is "RHEL 8.3" with all security patches and
fixes applied.

Can you think anything or a place to start working towards a solution?

Thanks

One more note: When I look at the Engine Database, Data Warehouse Database I
can see that Tables are created as part of the installation of oVirt 4.4.4.
Therefore re-forcing that the installation process was succsssful.

Generally speaking, this should never work, unless you run your
browser on the engine machine.
Otherwise, name resolution on your browser machine should point
'localhost' to itself.
We also have code that should have warned/asked you about this.

In the URL, you should use the same FQDN you provided when asked about
the FQDN of the engine.
If you then replied 'localhost', it should work (despite what I wrote above).

To see which FQDN you provided, you can run the following command on
the engine machine:

grep ^ENGINE_FQDN= /etc/ovirt-engine/engine.conf.d/*

See above.

Also:

Generally speaking, you can and should give your machine some name,
and make sure
name resolution for this name works. If you do not have DNS, you can do this
using /etc/hosts. Using 'localhost' is not a good idea, unless you refer to the
local host.

Good luck and best regards,

I’ve install ovirt multiple times with no errors and so far I’ve not been able
to get the SSO to display in my Firefox browser.

However thru trial and error I’ve discovered that when I enter the following
URL address:

https://localhost:443/ovirt-engine

I get the following message below:

The FQDN used to access the system is not a valid engine FQDN. You must access
the system using the engine FQDN or one of the engine alternate FQDNs.

I’ve installed oVirt 4.4.4 on a standalone machine with no DNS, what can I do
to resolve this issue?

When I click/select the “Continue” link I get the following message:

Having troubles finding this site.

What could I be doing wrong to cause this error to occur?
What should I be doing during the installation to prevent this from occurring?

Thanks
