Re: [ovirt-users] Unexpected exception when trying to destroy a VM
Thank you Michael, Looks like rebooting the host fixed the problem - this seems to be a recurring event for us. *** *Mark Steele* CIO / VP Technical Operations | TelVue Corporation TelVue - We Share Your Vision 800.885.8886 x128 | mste...@telvue.com | http://www.telvue.com twitter: http://twitter.com/telvue | facebook: https://www.facebook.com/telvue On Sat, Feb 20, 2016 at 8:20 AM, Michal Skrivanekwrote: > > > On 19 Feb 2016, at 17:27, Mark Steele wrote: > > oVirt Engine Version: 3.5.0.1-1.el6 > > I attempted to shutdown a VM via the VH's CLI by issuing the poweroff > command (ubuntu 14.04.3). > > The session disconnected and ping dropped, however oVirt reports the VM > up. [ovirt-users] Unexpected exception when trying to destroy a VM
oVirt Engine Version: 3.5.0.1-1.el6 I attempted to shutdown a VM via the VH's CLI by issuing the poweroff command (ubuntu 14.04.3). The session disconnected and ping dropped, however oVirt reports the VM up. Attempted to 'Power Off' via oVirt gui and received and error. Accessed the host via CLI and attempted a destroy with: vdsClient -s 0 destroy *vmgui* received an Unexpected exception. The VM still reports as UP in vsdClient -s 0 list table Thank you *** *Mark Steele* CIO / VP Technical Operations | TelVue Corporation TelVue - We Share Your Vision 800.885.8886 x128 | mste...@telvue.com | http://www.telvue.com twitter: http://twitter.com/telvue | facebook: https://www.facebook.com/telvue ___ Users mailing list Users@ovirt.org http://lists.ovirt.org/mailman/listinfo/users
