 Hi Valentin,

The messages that you see mean that the SOPE libraries are not found. This
is due to missing -L parameters to gcc/ld during the build, which is
probably caused by a problem with your GNUstep installation.
If you source your GNUstep.sh prior to typing gmake, does it solve the
issue? Try first with SOGo and if it does not work, redo a make install
in SOPE and then retry with SOGo. When you installed the SOPE libraries, do
 you know where they went?

 Hi Wolfgang,

Thank you for you quick reply. I have sourced GNUstep.sh prior running
gmake
(/usr/local/GNUstep/System/Library/Makefiles/GNUstep.sh). I think the
problem was the shell
I was running (csh). I took a look around and found out there is
a GNUstep.csh in
/usr/local/GNUstep/System/Library/Makefiles. I have sourced that in and the
build and install
process worked like a charm :).

I think the SOPE libraries went
in /usr/local/GNUstep/Local/Library/Libraries. I don't know for sure
but the date from ls output is the date I installed SOPE:

$ ls -al /usr/local/GNUstep/Local/Library/Libraries
[output omitted for brevity]

-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 467625 Sep 30 16:59 libGDLContentStore.so.4.9.0
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 978441 Sep 30 16:59 libNGCards.so.4.9.0
...

Please correct me if I am wrong. And one more question, to be able to make a
port SOGo
for FreeBSD what do you recommend to start study with? Besides the porter
handbook of
FreeBSD. Should I start with GNUStep? I really want to understand the
process so I will
be able to maintain the port when GNUStep and/or SOGo/SOPE gets updated. All
of
this taking into account that my programming skills are thin :).

Now all I have to test is to see if SOGo really works :).
Have a great day,

Hi Sebastian,

Thank you for sharing that with me. I have a long way ahead with building
the port
because as I've said in my previous emails programming is not my strength
but
I want to improve. I believe many people would benefit from a SOGo port

I will take a look over the OpenBSD port you are building after I will get

All is working fine except my addressbook sync.

Each time I restart Thunderbird all my personnal contacts are duplicated.
Mine and all testing users

My server is accessed from : https://sogo.iamm.fr

I have checked:

extensions.rdf: isi:updateURL=https://sogo.iamm.fr/plugins/

SOGO.conf:

RequestHeader set x-webobjects-server-port 443
RequestHeader set x-webobjects-server-name sogo.iamm.fr
RequestHeader set x-webobjects-server-url https://sogo.iamm.fr;

GNUStepDefaults:
WOHttpAllowHost = ( sogo.iamm.fr );

Can you help me if I'm missing something ?

Events in calendar works fine.

I have this error on both windows and linux version. I'm running a TB 3.1
version with the lightning, connector and integrator stables from sogo site

I'm hopping another solution that a sogo-tool remove-doubles scripts.

Thx

[SOGo] Addressbook via LDAP using OpenLDAPs dynamic config backend

2010-10-01 Thread Dennis Petschull
Hi,

I've read Wolfgangs email concerning sogo-slapd-sockd here:
http://mail.opengroupware.org/pipermail/sogo/2010-March/005881.html

The instructions are clear to me, if I would be using the old static
slapd.conf configuration method of OpenLDAP.
But now that I'm using OpenLDAP version 2.4.15-1ubuntu3.1 with the new
dynamic config backend, I'm not quite sure how to accomplish this.

Does anybody have a working ldif file to get this working with the slapadd

Thanks!

Re: [SOGo] Addressbook via LDAP using OpenLDAPs dynamic config backend

2010-10-01 Thread Mohit Chawla
Is it a priority to use the dynamic backend ? I personally find it
disrupting the way Ubuntu Debian are moving to the slapd.d style. Maybe it
holds some (probably important) advantages, but at the same time the static
slapd.conf method isn't particularly disadvantageous either.

Of course, you can still use slapd.conf using the -f argument to slapd,
that's how I do it on new installations.

Anyway, the Ubuntu wiki is a good source of information, that's probably
where you should be looking for your answer regarding the configuration
adding records.

[SOGo] TB3 not installing Lightning from update server

Unfortunately not. After looking at this for a long time though, I'm
suspecting that it is impossible to have the update server be different
from the SOGo server. The Integrator plug-in just doesn't seem to
support this type of feature. Perhaps we should add a bug for this as it
does make for a more scalable system.
