Hi David On Jan 5, 2011, at 1:58 PM, David Ochel wrote: This might be a naive question, but I'm not very familiar with the configuration of SOGo... No. You can only disable all notifications related to events (with SOGoAppointmentSendEMailNotifcations). Thanks for the quick reply! Would it be appropriate for me to add a feature request for this? Sure. I think it wouldn't go against the standards to offer such an option. Here's an extract from RCF 2446 (iTIP): 3.2.2.2 Updating or Reconfirmation of an Event The Organizer of an event may also send unsolicited REQUEST methods. Re: [SOGo] Question Regarding Attendees
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA256 Ok, Here is a summary of what we are seeing... Should I file a bug report? When viewing a calendar event created by the current user in Thunderbird, or through the web interface, after clicking on the 'Attendees' link via the Inverse Lightning plugin, the small round graphics that indicate attendee status are missing. When clicking on a calendar event that the current user has not created but has been invited to, the small round graphics that indicate attendee status are visible and correct. 1) This problem exists in both Debian and Ubuntu, 64 and 32 bit. 2) This problem does not exist under Windows. All installs were tested using the Mozilla Thunderbird build from the Mozilla website, as well as the Ubuntu version of Thunderbird. All installs were done from scratch including a default OS install. Problem is easily duplicated: Install Debian Squeeze with default installation settings, then install Thunderbird from the Mozilla site, then install Lightning and connector from the SOGo site, then install the modified version of integrator to attach to your server. Thunderbird is currently installed in '/usr/local/thunderbird'. Error log shows no errors or warnings. Please advise any additional tests you would like us to run... [SOGo] sogo connector and carddav
Hi, I've successfully setup sogo and it worka OK but I have 2 questions for which I cannot find the answer. 1. Is it possible to have a fancier url when connecting to an address book/calendar via thunderbird (+sogo connector) than http://sogo.example.com/SOGo/dav/user123/Contacts/C7B-4D082300-1-2C48A9C/ (or similar)? How is a user supposed to get that url anyway (I forged it from the data I've found in sogo DB and it actually works!) 2. For the problem under 1. I have successfuly setup a script + some apache rewrite rules so I can use http://calendar.example.com/user123/calendar_name/ and it works (I can post them somewhere if anybody is interested). The problem is with the contacts as the sogo connector is somehow hardcoded so that the url must include SOGo in it or it will not even make a request. Is this a bug or a feature? Is it possible to turn it off? Thank you very much for your answers. best regards -- Tomaz Stucin, RHCE, MCSE, CCNA | CEO ITARS Information Technologies -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

Re: [SOGo] FreeBSD startup script
OK, glad you got SOGo to compile on FreeBSD. What version do you use btw? I'm using 8.1-RELEASE myself. For reference, I don't think I actually needed to add to LD_LIBRARY_PATH for it to install for me, if you source the GNUstep.sh file, it should be enough to compile SOPE/SOGo: #source /usr/local/GNUstep/System/Library/Makefiles/GNUstep.sh After a make install, you need to copy from the source files the "SOGo-1.3.4/Apache/SOGo.conf" to "/usr/local/etc/apache22/Includes/" or wherever you put apache module conf files. Mine looks like this: #cat /usr/local/etc/apache22/Includes/SOGo.conf Alias /SOGo.woa/WebServerResources/ /usr/local/GNUstep/Local/Library/SOGo/WebServerResources/ Alias /SOGo/WebServerResources/ /usr/local/GNUstep/Local/Library/SOGo/WebServerResources/ AliasMatch /SOGo/so/ControlPanel/Products/(.*)/Resources/(.*) /usr/local/GNUstep/Local/Library/SOGo/$1.SOGo/Resources/$2 Directory /usr/local/GNUstep/Local/Library/SOGo/ AllowOverride None Order deny, allow Allow from all /Directory LocationMatch "^/SOGo/so/ControlPanel/Products/.*UI/Resources/.*\.(jpg|png|gif|css|js)" SetHandler default-handler /LocationMatch ## Uncomment the following to enable proxy-side authentication, you will then ## need to set the "SOGoTrustProxyAuthentication" SOGo user default to YES and ## adjust the "x-webobjects-remote-user" proxy header in the "Proxy" section ## below. #Location /SOGo # AuthType XXX # Require valid-user # SetEnv proxy-nokeepalive 1 # Allow from all #/Location ProxyRequests Off SetEnv proxy-nokeepalive 1 ProxyPreserveHost On # When using CAS, you should uncomment this and install cas-proxy-validate.py # in /usr/lib/cgi-bin to reduce server overloading # # ProxyPass /SOGo/casProxy http://localhost/cgi-bin/cas-proxy-validate.py # Proxy http://localhost/app/cas-proxy-validate.py # Order deny, allow # Allow from your-cas-host-addr # /Proxy ProxyPass /SOGo http://127.0.0.1:2/SOGo retry=0 Proxy http://127.0.0.1:2/SOGo ## adjust the following to your configuration RequestHeader set "x-webobjects-server-port" "443" RequestHeader set "x-webobjects-server-name" "host.domain.com" RequestHeader set "x-webobjects-server-url" "https://host.domain.com" ## When using proxy-side autentication, you need to uncomment and ## adjust the following line: # RequestHeader set "x-webobjects-remote-user" "%{REMOTE_USER}e" RequestHeader set "x-webobjects-server-protocol" "HTTP/1.0" RequestHeader set "x-webobjects-remote-host" %{REMOTE_HOST}e env=REMOTE_HOST AddDefaultCharset UTF-8 Order allow, deny Allow from all /Proxy ## We use mod_rewrite to pass remote address to the SOGo proxy. # The remote address will appear in SOGo's log files and in the X-Forward # header of emails.
