Re: Re: [SOGo] Resources planning - Not working
Hello Resources looks to be what i need, but for users the idea of 'inviting' a room or a pool car to an event, just so you can book them seems quite alien. I can really see that what you've done here is great, but with the issues of usage, are you planning further changes to make this more userfriendly? Obviously what you wish to do also has to be available within Thunderbird too, which makes things harder .. Julian -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

If you ever feel like wasting hours and hours to fix something and start all over again just because you forgot some detail, do as I did. Hours of fun... Hmm, makes sense now - my calendar data goes back a few years and has been populated by different clients along the way. I ended up examining logs like you did, identifying the entries that would cause the errors and the fix them. Either I would call and edit them within SOGo (- rewrite event correctly) or I would simply delete the events. Currently some software involved produces dupes. What works if things go wrong is using SOGo as master and then delete caches on all clients. In TB I remove ~/.thunderbird/ID.default/calendar-data/cache.sqlite and on my Android I go this way to delete cached data: Settings Applications Manage Applications All Apps Funambol Sync Delete Data (Translated from my German Android. Labels may be written differently). Thanks for the pointers - i'll try that approach. Missing on my list: Tasks. I have no idea how this would work. All I have is hearsay. :/ I managed to get the tasks to sync (sort of), but have not tested it much yet. I had to install the Astrid task manager on android so there was somewhere for the tasks to go. Thanks Vik -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

I've never used Outlook/Exchange so cant vouch for that, but the idea of 'Inviting' a resource just seems bizarre. Perhaps a different button, marked 'Select Resources' relating to resources would work better in the interface, but then its not something that would be duplicated in Lightning, which would be a problem. [SOGo] ZEG 1.3.7a: sogo-integrator: pictures in addressbook-sync problem
hi, addressbook sync from apple macosx-addr.book to sogo 1.3.7a workes now. one can see and edit contacts with pictures without getting the pictures deleted - via web. using the TB-integrator does not sync all pictures from cardDav. the one which are synced show only in preview, not in detail. after saving the contact, pic. is gone! I've added to bug 1277. is there a workaround? at the moment it's THE showstopper. on other hand, 1.3.7a fixed a couple of other prblms. with calender syncing, remindertimes and start-times with TB/lightning. thx a lot for this! cheers günter -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
