Recently I also tried this, without success.

There are problems with some Thunderbird bugs that have to be resolved,

We're now pretty much down to three patches to be included so we don't

2. offline mode support:

3. hooks / stubs mechanisms:

The last one will allow us to move our ACL code directly in the SOGo
Connector/Integrator extensions. So we won't have to modify Lightning
anymore.

That being said, those 3 bugs should be fixed for Lightning 1.0. You
should all vote on the bugs so the patches finally get included.

Lightning 1.0 will most likely require Thunderbird 7. If that's the
case, that's the version we'll support after 3.1.

So, you should vote to speed up the process.

You have a lop when the version of one or more addon reported inside the
xpi (install.rdf modified by inverse) is not the same filename that you
 are using inside update.php
Example: into install.rdf of sogo-connector version report is 3.105pre1
but the filename is sogo-connector-3.105.xpi and the same is into
update.php, update reinstalls tb every time.
Because for update.php connector should be 3.105, but is not possibile
because version into install.rdf is always 3.105pre1

That was certainly not the problem, I checked and changed it multiple
times. IMO there must have been an error in the connector, since it
works with a nightly version.

Can someone give me the rundown on how to get it working with TB 6? I
know that you have to change the Max Version node in install.rdf, but
not sure if there's anything else.

I tried the combo (connector/integrator/lightning) a few days ago with a
clean profile without success. I of course edited the maxVersion
setting, but didn't change anything else. I could install the addons,
but the calendar wasn't rendered correctly and was unusable.

I guess using TB3 (which still receives security updates AFAIK) and
waiting for the TB7 version of lightning as mentioned in the other posts
in this thread is the best option atm.

[SOGo] ldap credentials with ZEG

2011-09-02 Thread thomas.david
Hello, i'm trying to add a new user to SOGo using the latest ZEG, but
unfortunately i don't know anything about ldap.
I suppose however that my problem is because i don't have the correct password
for cn=Manager or cn=admin
ldap_bind : Invalid credentials
So i was wondering is there a way to find where is the admin/Manager password,
or more simply what is this password by default with the ZEG
Thanks

Alex,

Your results.txt shows that the lightning plug-in the updater is looking
for is appended with _win32. Typically this little tag is deleted from
the plug-in file name unless you've set up your updates.php and
extensions.rdf of the integrator to explicitly look for such a file
name. The intent is to have the lighting plug-in for each OS to have the
same file name but be located in its respective OS folder. Your
updates.php and extensions.rdf files might not be referring to the same
lightning plug-in file name.

Also, as discussed previously, there have been some that have not been
able to get the stable plug-ins to work but have been successful using
the nightlies from the following location.
