[SOGo] cannot start sogod: libmemcached.so.7 not found
Hi all, I am a new to SOGo and to the list. I tried installing SOGo on my CentOS6 server following the installation guide using yum. I get the following error when trying to start the service: [root@sogo ~]# service sogod start Starting SOGo: /usr/GNUstep/System/Tools/Admin/sogod: error while loading shared libraries: libmemcached.so.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory sogoD] It appears I do not have the libmemcached.so.7 shared library file: [root@sogo ~]# locate libmemcached.so /usr/lib/libmemcached.so.2 /usr/lib/libmemcached.so.2.0.0 [root@sogo ~]# rpm -qa |grep memcached libmemcached-0.31-1.1.el6.i686 memcached-1.4.4-3.el6.i686 Should I have a different version of libmemcached installed? [SOGo] Changing /SOGo suffix in URL
Hi, Firstly I'd like to say thanks for what looks like a very flexible product. I have only discovered SOGo in the last week or so after battling with OBM for some months. I have to say it looks far more professional and the mailing list is much more active. I have an installation of v1.3.8b on Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS. I have been working on an LDAP and e-mail infrastructure to support all the requirements and am almost complete. I would now like to deploy a test instance and for the simplicity of the end-users replace the existing URL of: https://www.example.com/webmail with the new SOGo installation. The Apache server is already serving other products via www and a couple of other (non-secure) name based virtual sites. What is the best way to change the /SOGo suffix used to /webmail? I presumably could just edit /etc/apache/conf.d/SOGo.conf and update some of the alias and proxy statements. However, would this be undone by the next update? I would also like to force the traffic over this URL to be secure. Should I add that to the SOGo.conf as well or is it better placed elsewhere? Yes, install the one coming from the SOGo repo - libmemcached-0.49. Thanks for the tip. It appears that using yum priorities is keeping the new memcached package being installed. If I give the sogo repo the same priority (=1) as base and updates, I get the following errors: Error: Package: perl-core-5.10.1-119.el6.i686 (@cr) Requires: perl-Compress-Zlib Removing: perl-Compress-Zlib-2.020-119.el6.i686 (@cr) perl-Compress-Zlib = 2.020-119.el6 Obsoleted By: perl-IO-Compress-2.037-1.el6.rfx.noarch (rpmforge-extras) Not found Available: perl-Compress-Zlib-2.020-115.el6.i686 (base) perl-Compress-Zlib = 2.020-115.el6 Error: Package: perl-IO-Compress-2.037-1.el6.rfx.noarch (rpmforge-extras) Requires: perl(Compress::Raw::Zlib) = 2.037 Installed: perl-Compress-Raw-Zlib-2.023-119.el6.i686 (@cr) perl(Compress::Raw::Zlib) = 2.020 Available: perl-Compress-Raw-Zlib-2.023-115.el6.i686 (base) perl(Compress::Raw::Zlib) = 2.020 Error: Package: perl-core-5.10.1-119.el6.i686 (@cr) Requires: perl-IO-Compress-Zlib Removing: perl-IO-Compress-Zlib-2.020-119.el6.i686 (@cr) perl-IO-Compress-Zlib = 2.020-119.el6 Obsoleted By: perl-IO-Compress-2.037-1.el6.rfx.noarch (rpmforge-extras) Not found Available: perl-IO-Compress-Zlib-2.020-115.el6.i686 (base) perl-IO-Compress-Zlib = 2.020-115.el6 Error: Package: perl-core-5.10.1-119.el6.i686 (@cr) Requires: perl-IO-Compress-Base Removing: perl-IO-Compress-Base-2.020-119.el6.i686 (@cr) perl-IO-Compress-Base = 2.020-119.el6 Obsoleted By: perl-IO-Compress-2.037-1.el6.rfx.noarch (rpmforge-extras) Not found Available: perl-IO-Compress-Base-2.020-115.el6.i686 (base) perl-IO-Compress-Base = 2.020-115.el6 Hmm, is this because the rpmforge-extras has now a different priority? How have others solved this, are you using yum priorities at all with your CentOS SOGo servers? Best, Peter -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

Sounds good. But would be beautiful if something similar exists for CentOS/RHEL distributions... [SOGo] ZEG Configuration
Does anyone have any step-by-step instructions for taking the ZEG 2.0 beta1 virtual appliance and turning it into a production ready VM? I have tried logging into webmin and using the SOGo module to make configuration changes. Everytime I save something, the system does not actually save the change. For example, I have tried to add the external IMAP server, I have tried to allow users to add mail accounts (checked the box, hit save.. didn't keep the setting). Should I be editting these changes somewhere instead of the webmin module? -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
