[SOGo] Possible SOGo TZ issue

2011-11-03 Thread Ronald Yacketta
In the Sogo webui, my ics subscription shows all the events
an hour later. I also have the same ics imported on my Google calendar and
the times are all correct, so it appears to be limited to Sogo

Now here's the kicker, this is only the case for this week: 10/30-11/5
(week 45). And again it only affects my ics subscribed calendar.

Wonder if this has anything to-do with the TZ change former President Bush made?

Show us the vTimeZone definition for America/New_York within the vCalendar of

But the User Agent is 'iOS/5.0 (9A334) Preferences/1.0'

[SOGo] SOGo on Ubuntu 11.10

2011-11-03 Thread Dominique

Hi,

Trying to install SOGo on Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric) but I could not find
specific sources. I added the natty source instead in the sources file.
Here is the result so far:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 sogo : Depends: libgnustep-base1.20 (= 1.20.1) but it is not installable
Depends: libmemcached5 (= 0.33) but it is not installable
Depends: libsope-appserver4.9 (= 4.9.r1664.2003) but it is
not going to be installed
Depends: libsope-core4.9 (= 4.9.r1664.2003) but it is not
going to be installed
Depends: libsope-gdl1-4.9 (= 4.9.r1664.2003) but it is not
going to be installed
Depends: libsope-ldap4.9 (= 4.9.r1664.2003) but it is not
going to be installed
Depends: libsope-mime4.9 (= 4.9.r1664.2003) but it is not
going to be installed
Depends: sope4.9-libxmlsaxdriver but it is not going to be
installed

Depends: sope4.9-db-connector
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

After reviewing my setup:
libgnustep-base1.22 is already installed but does not seem to be
detected by the SOGo package

libmemcached5 is nowhere to be found
the various sope libraries are available but will not install automatically.

Any ideas how to proceed from there ?

Thanks,

Dominique

[SOGo] Show stopper bug with nightly builds and CentOS 6

2011-11-03 Thread dcreed
This is off a brand new install of CentOS 6. (i686 32 bit)

1.) Setup repositories
2.) Yum install sogo (and in my case the sope49 sql driver
3.) configure the mysql database
4.) service sogod start (here is where it fails)

Starting SOGo:
/usr/sbin/sogod: symbol lookup error: /usr/sbin/sogod: undefined symbol: main
  sogo

Clearly there is some kind of bug and it's looking for a library or something..

This bug has been around for at least a week now, I really could use some help
figuring it out.

[SOGo] ANN: SOGo v2.0.0beta3 with Native Outlook Compatibility

2011-11-03 Thread Ludovic Marcotte
Inverse is proud to announce the third beta release of SOGo v2.0.0 with
native Microsoft Outlook compatibility.

This release allows Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007 or 2010 to talk
directly to SOGo - just like if it was a Microsoft Exchange server. No
plugins are required for Microsoft Outlook to make this work.

This beta release is available as source or as RPM packages for Red Hat
Enterprise Linux/CentOS version 5 or 6. Packages for other distributions
will be offered in upcoming beta releases. The Zero Effort Groupware
(ZEG) virtual appliance is available for testing purposes.

The virtual appliance consists of the latest development version of
SOGo, SOPE and OpenChange, properly installed and configured. Note that
the native Microsoft Outlook compatibility is still a prerelease. The
fundamentals have been developed and should suit normal end-users.
Progress towards the final version will be fast from now on.

== Getting it ==

To download SOGo ZEG v2.0.0beta3, visit
http://www.sogo.nu/english/downloads/zeg.html#outlook

For Red Hat Enterprise Linux/CentOS version 5 or 6 packages, use the
nightly builds and follow the configuration instructions from the SOGo
- Native Microsoft Outlook Configuration guide.

== Changes ==

Here is a list of changes performed by the Inverse team on native
Outlook compatibility since beta 2 was released :

 * Photos support in contacts
 * Outlook 2010 fixes when sending mails
 * Mail drafts can now be saved
 * Mails sent from Outlook now have valid content types
 * Pictures are now correctly attached in HTML mails, with or without
attachments
 * Other stability and performance enhancements, among which many
crashes have been fixed

Configuration of SOGo through Webmin has also been fixed.

Refer to the SOGo - Native Microsoft Outlook Configuration guide for
current known issues or limitations.

== Upcoming improvements ==

The follow improvements will occur in the next following days, likely
resulting in a beta 4 :

 * Speed improvements for IMAP and SQL requests
 * Memory usage improvements

== Installation / Update ==

If you want to quickly test it, simply point your browser to your ZEG IP
address and read the Clients section to configure your favorite fat
client.

Please refer to the SOGo - Native Microsoft Outlook Configuration
guide if you are installing the solution for the first time. The ZEG
appliance can also be updated using the compilation instructions from
the same guide.

In the SOGo 2.0.0 beta virtual appliance, sources for OpenChange, SOGo
and SOPE are in /home/sogo. If you want to completely reinitialize the
OpenChange profiles for the sogo1..3 users, simply run the
/home/sogo/oc-cleanup-reinit.sh, as root.

== Helping Out ==

There are many ways you can help us. You can:

 * Tests with Outlook 2003, 2007 and 2010 and send us detailed reports.
Bugs should be filed at http://www.sogo.nu/bugs/ in the SOGo Native
Outlook Compatibility project

 * Spread the good word about this beta release!
 * Follow our development in the users@sogo.nu mailing list and update
regularly the components mentioned above
 * Contact us if you want to sponsor specific features with regard to
Outlook / SOGo compatibility

=== Getting Support ===

For any questions, do not hesitate to contact us by writing to
supp...@inverse.ca

Customer support packages for SOGo are available from
