[SOGo] SOGo package for Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
Hi SOGo-list, As many probably will know Ubuntu has released a new long time support version, 12.04 Precise Pangolin. Many users of previous versions might want to update in the near future (I already had ;) ) so it would be ice to have packages for this version available soon, any timeline for that? I'd be happy to test the packages. Regards, Piet-- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

From: Christian Mack christian.m...@uni-konstanz.de As you already have it. Do they ship Thunderbird 10 ESR version with it? Hello Christian, No, Thunderbird 11.01 I don't have Ubuntu 12.04 LTS on a desktop yet by the way, only on a headless server. Regards, Piet-- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
[SOGo] delete/disable default mail from mail window
Hi! Is there a way to delete/disable default mail from the mail window? Sogo can get the mail from LDAP but user's password not matches with mail's password. Just ignoring is not a solution because it causes a long timeout each time sogo tries to connect. Calendar events or tasks can use these mail accounts, because these are the good ones. Sorry for my poor english. Thank you. -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

[SOGo] Syncing subscribed webcalendar
Hi everyone, I've installed SOGo some days ago and now I'm testing it. I'm basically satisfied with it (running 1.3.15). However, there is a problem I can't fix: When I'm subscribing to a webcalendar in Web UI of SOGo that subscribed calendar gets listed there and I can see all its events. However, it's never synced to any connected device over CalDAV. I'm doing so to use externally provided holidays list and also want to see them on all my attached devices of course. Is this a bug, or a feature? All locally created calendars are properly synced between devices and WebUI in either direction, but the subscribed webcalendar isn't even listed anywhere but Web UI. I've just put them online for the nightly builds: http://inverse.ca/ubuntu-nightly/pool/precise/ To use them, add the following to sources.list: deb http://inverse.ca/ubuntu-nightly precise precise Then add our gpg pubkey: sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keys.gnupg.net --recv-key 0x810273C4 sudo apt-get update And install sogo: apt-get install sogo All this is very lightly tested right now, so of course your feedback is very welcome. Please report any issues. Thanks. Hi, The install requires me to install MySQL. AFAIK SOGo can work with PostgreSQL too. Is it possible to remove the dependecy on MySQL? Can you install sope4.9-gdl1-postgresql? This package exists under Lucid. If it exists under precise, what happens afterwards, if you install sogo? -Christian Rößner --- Roessner-Network-Solutions Bachelor of Science Informatik Nahrungsberg 81, 35390 Gießen F: +49 641 5879091, M: +49 176 93118939 USt-IdNr.: DE225643613 http://www.roessner-network-solutions.com smime.p7s Description: S/MIME cryptographic signature

Well, yes. sope4.9-gdl1-mysql currently 'recommends' mysql-server. I just committed a fix for that. The package now 'suggests' it. If you need your sogo install to work with postgresl, do it like this: apt-get install sope4.9-gdl1-postgresql sogo Thanks for pointing this out. -- Jean Raby jr...@inverse.ca :: +1.514.447.4918 (x120) :: www.inverse.ca Inverse inc. :: Leaders behind SOGo (www.sogo.nu) and PacketFence (www.packetfence.org) -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
