[SOGo] appointment requests always posted to (first) calendar "personal"
Hi, We started to use SOGo a short while ago and so far we're quite happy with it. :-) system setup: - SOGo 1.3.16 running on Debian with MySQL-Backend and OpenLDAP for authentication purposes - clients mostly TB 10 ESR with lightning add-on However our users have recently started to use the handy appointment request/invitation function provided by the SOGo webinterface or TB Lightning add-on and have run into the following problem which might point to a bug SOGo. Or is at actually a feature? ;-) All users at our site have two calendars configured. Example for user : "/Users//Calendar/personal" = { acl = { "" = ( None ); }; displayname = Private; records = ( (...)" and "/Users//Calendar/347A-4FFAFC00-2F-XX" = { acl = { }; displayname = Business; records = ( (...)" ACLs on calendar "Private" are configured to deny viewing/editing by other users whereas calendar "Business" has ACLs according to our SOGo default setup ("PublicViewer", "ConfidentialDAndTViewer"). If user is now sending an appointment request to user this request is always posted to 's "Private" calendar (SOGo Webinterface or Lightning doesn't make any difference). Why? I'd expect SOGo to take into account the restrictive ACLs set on calendar "Private" an thus choose the next public writable calendar "Business" as target for an appointment request. Or is it true that appointment request to are always sent to the "../Calendar/personal" or his "first calendar" since there is no option for user to choose the target calendar? If yes, is there any option to change this behavior? Or alternatively how can a user move an appointment request from another user to a calendar of his choice (I didn't find any option in the appointment response user dialog to do this)? Any help is appreciated. Lars -- Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) Institut für Wirtschaftspolitik und Wirtschaftsforschung (IWW) Dipl.-Wi.-Ing. Re: [SOGo] sogo and iredmail - are there any users out there? - ldap addressbook problem
Would it be hard to setup a paging feature in global address book, pulling one page of let us say 50 users and then go from there. That way you can see A's and B's for example and go search for specific entry or just page down the line. Also, it might be nice to cache the ldap address book on the startup of the app thus avoid pulling the data all the time. In that case search still can be done on live data but cached whole thing is available for display from memory. i would think that most of the cases are smaller ldap installation and not 10K user bases. --sasha On Sun, Jul 22, 2012 at 3:15 PM, Martin Seener wrote: > its normal behaviour. when u have ldap with 10.000 of entries u will have to > wait. therefore nothing is shown by default. but u can type a dot in the > search field to let all be shown ;) > > Sent from my iPad > > On 22.07.2012, at 20:53, Alexander Pfeiffer > wrote: > > dear sogo and iredmail users, > > i have sogo 1.3.16 installed on top of iredmail 0.8.1 (ldap backend) on > ubuntu 12.04 and it works very well despite the fact that the Gloabl LDAP > Addressbook is displayed empty in SOGo Webinterface and in TB (10.0.6 esr). > > anyone succeeded in having a populated ldap addressbook? i would be > interested in the setup in Gnustepdefaults file. > > here is how i have it configured: > > > > CNFieldName > cn > IDFieldName > mail > UIDFieldName > uid > baseDN > o=domains,dc=mydomain,dc=de > bindDN > cn=Manager,dc=mydomain,dc=de > bindFields > mail > bindPassword > Manager secret password > canAuthenticate > YES > displayName > Global LDAP Addressbook > hostname > localhost > id > public > isAddressBook > YES > port > 389 > scope > sub > > > > thanks for your help. > > best, alex > > > -- > dipl.-ing. alexander pfeiffer architekt > mail: alexander.m.pfeif...@gmail.com -- Aleksandar Kacanski -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

I think, you can not solve this. But you can use the ldap-utils on the command line. If I remember correctly, the password is "sogo" for "cn=admin,dc=example,dc=com". ldapsearch -xWD "cn=admin,dc=example,dc=com" -b "dc=example,dc=com" works here… -Christian Rößner --- Rößner-Network-Solutions Bachelor of Science Informatik Erlenwiese 14, 36304 Alsfeld T: +49 6631 7882340-0 F: +49 6631 7882340-9 M: +49 176 93118939 USt-IdNr.: DE225643613 http://www.roessner-network-solutions.com smime.p7s Description: S/MIME cryptographic signature
[SOGo] add own function
Hello :) is there a way to add own functions to SOGo? I found in the SOGo-directories the images and some other stuff. I need to add an own addon which only has to send a xml-message to a server with informations about the selected emails. Is there a way without compiling? -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: [SOGo] CardDAV iPhone
Slávek, Slávek Banko schrieb (20.07.2012 16:30 Uhr): Dne pá 20. července 2012 Marc Patermann napsal(a): I successfully connected an iPhone to SOGo via CardDAV. The iPhone is not complaining about the connection. A Virtualhost on port 8800 is active. I see OPTION and PROFIND action in Apache accesslog and in sogo.log for /SOGo/dav/test1/. But on the iPhone I cannot see contacts from the server and contacts added on the iPhone are not synced to the server. (CalDAV works as expected.) I got a backup for the user and the file does only include the contact added via webGUI or Thunderbird. What is happening here? With which debug setting can I see what is wrong? Apple in the instructions for CardDAV says port 8843: The port is one of the only things, that you can configure for CardDAV on the iPhone. And while the iPhone is not complaining and there are connections on the SOGo side, I don't think this is the problem here. Marc -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
