Re: [SOGo] Outlook Autodiscover

2012-09-12 Thread André Schild

I think SOGo does not support autoconfig.

Look for automx to implement autodiscovery

Hi,

[SOGo] courier-imap with SOGo V2

2012-09-12 Thread Sébastien Blin

Hello,

I use "courier imap" supporting "ACL", "UIDPLUS" but not "IMAP QRESYNC."

Is that it can operate without "IMAP QRESYNC"?

SOGo only supports IMAP email accounts as mailstore protocol.
So you would have to set up an IMAP server of your own and synchronize
that via e.g. fetchmail with your ISP pop account.

For sending, SOGo uses the SMTP server you specify.
So this would work with your ISP account directly, if all users of your
SOGo domain use that ISP.

You have to use that for SMTP, if not all users of your SOGo domain use
this ISP.

[SOGo] (question) connection of extermal Pop and SMTP accounts

2012-09-12 Thread Patrick Prilisauer
Hello to all,

Hopefully I'm here at the right place :-)

First of all I've tried to find some hints about my question at your
archive, but without success.

I would like to connect sogo to mail accounts at my ISP pop and smtp. I
know some tools are able to map pop to exchange accounts, as a mail
downloader, but I like to make a connection for reviving and sending mails
through sogo to my isp.

Sendmail also offers a mapping possibility. So does anybody got a hint or
solution for me? Thanks a lot

Br,
Patrick

Re: [SOGo] How to Authenticate with IMAP Server?

2012-09-12 Thread Marc Patermann

Maik,

Maik Derstappen schrieb (11.09.2012 11:13 Uhr):

i have still a problem to connect to my IMAP-Server.
I can login with my user name and password and the calendar works fine,
but when sogo tries to connect to my IMAP-Server it fails.
Even if i setup another IMAP account for a user inside SOGo it does not
work.
The account data are the same in SOGo and my IMAP accounts.
I also tried tls and ssl, but both doesn't work.
The seperator is now set to ".", because my dovecot use this, but the
default of "/" was also not working.
Any ideas how to fix that?

What does your dovecot log say for both of the tries and how do they differ?

What is wrong here?

That is generally a sign that you wrongly configured/customized
your SOGo Integrator extension.

It is not the webserver. I changed apache with nginx, and the
result is the same. I'm further pretty sure, it is not the
customization, because this is only the hostname to change and this
is right.

We found out with extensions version 10.0.2 it is working. With a
fresh profile with extensions version 10.0.3 it is not working.
With a fresh profile and integrator 10.0.2 and connector 10.0.3 is

it working. With a former 10.0.2 profile and both 10.0.3 extension
it is working.

So the problem seems to be introduced with the integrator extension
version 10.0.3.

I got something very similar here. At first I thought it came from
different versions on server and clients, but now I'm using 1.3.18a

on server, and TB ESR 1.0.0.7 + 10.0.3 extensions... and I keep on
having the same symptoms as Marc.

Are there differences in updates.php? For I might have kept the "old"
one (since Debian packages don't have it, IIRC)...

I opened a bug last week (#1977) and saw afterwards that there is one
already (#1970).
