The remote names recommended in the sogo documentation are sogo-card /

like card, cal todo. For a simpler user expirience it is best to also setup
the same/additional remote names on your funambol server.

Thanks, card-sync now works, calendar is not working because it is tryng to
sync with the wrong mysql table (the one containing my contacts).
Where could I setup it ?

It was just a typo in an xml file, now it works well.

Our LDAP is populated with email addresses like username@domain.local

is it possible to automatically ovverride that in SOGo so that the in

usern...@domain.com.au?

We can get users to change it themselves, and I think we can do it

Using SogoMailDomain=domain.com.au; in the GNUStepDefaults file
doesn't appear to do what I need.

[SOGo] Column problem in E-Mail overview

2012-10-09 Thread Hartmut Raithel
Hi all,

last Friday, i have done the update from SOGo 1.3.18 to 2.0. (Repo: deb

Since then, I'm facing problems in e-mail view. The columns in the mail
overview table seems misaligned under some conditions. For example, with
Firefox 15.0.1 the view looks well, with IE9 (9.0.10)on the same machine,
the overview table seems damaged.

Please see screenshot with right and wrong behaviour:

The problem occurs mostly (but not only) with IE. Some Firefox users (10.0.7

Sogo.log shows no abnormality while accessing the webgui:

This solved it! Excellent :) I didn't know you could set default
policies, and it's impossible to log in as the resource itself, since
windows refuses to authenticate against my rather minimalistic
CalenderResource object. Thanks for the hint, that was exactly what I
 needed.

So, I have now a fairly complete set of step-by-step instructions how to
put CalendarResources into an Active Directory without going insane,
including schema extension LDIF files and stuff. It took me about a week
to figure it all out, and google couldn't find anybody who has done this
before. So I have a feeling it might be knowledge worth sharing.

But what's the best way? Should I simplay post them here for future
reference, or is there a better way?

You should add it to the SOGo Wiki

[SOGo] Cyrus 2.4 with Ubuntu 10.04

2012-10-09 Thread Burkart Orlowski | Onlinehelp24

Hi everybody,

I was wondering if anybody has got a running setup with Ubuntu Server
10.04 and Cyrus 2.4 or Dovecot 2.2 to use the SOGo Outlook extension.

Unfortunately there's no package available for that Ubuntu version. Did
anybody try to install Cyrus 2.4 / Dovecot 2.2 manually?

Thanks for your help.

Cyrus-IMAP has the issue that one must create the IMAP mail box with cyradm.
It will not be created automatically upon successful login.

Dovecot can be configured to do that:
 http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Plugins/Autocreate

In any case, I'd like to know what I'm missing by using Dovecot as IMAP
 server with SOGo.

You can use Dovecot 2.2 with SOGo as it provides the ACL, UIDPLUS and QRESYNC
IMAP extensions. You won't miss feature.

 Yes.

The personal calendar and address book are created on first log in, so
I don't think importing will work before that.

Try looking under Address Book -- Personal address book when
logging in as user gbreiner into the SOGo webinterface.

Already done... In Address Book -- Personal address book I have the
contacts that comes from my Personal Computer by synchronisation with syncml
client funambol. I expected my horde contacts at this place but no data has
 been added.

I have three tables in mysql related to gbreiner's contacts.

 sogogbreiner00269f70e2c_acl
 sogogbreiner00269f70e2c_quick

If I did understood, horde contacts for gbreiner should be in theses tables
 after having ran turba.py, should'nt be ?

Humm... Am I alone to have this problem ?
Yet I 'm already log in a first time so the mysql tables for contacts have been
created but when I run the script turba.py I do not get my contacts from horde
in my Personal address book.
Does anyone has an idea of what happens after the PUT of TurbaConverter.py
script ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

[SOGo] SOGo 2.0 ZEG strange timezone behavior

2012-10-09 Thread Michal Kminek
I had problems with all-day events created by MS Outlook using the MS
Exchange connection on my SOGo server. Therefore I decided to test it on
the latest ZEG edition but the problem persist.

I setup SOGo, system and Windows to use the same timezone in ZEG. I
found a strange behavior - if the timezone is GMT or any other GMT +h
zone then all all-day events created with MS Outlook (2007, 2010) go one
day back in the web interface. For example if I create an all-day event
to happen on 25th Oct in Outlook it is displayed as an all-day event on
24th Oct in SOGo.

If I setup the time zone as any GMT -h zone everything works fine.

Michal Kminek

[SOGo] mail aliases - delivery / web interface

2012-10-09 Thread Simon Walter

Hi all,

I've read in a few different posts that in order to have mail aliases,
one needs to add another 'mail' entry to the user's LDAP entry. I've
done this while testing SOGo with ZEG, and this does not seem to be the
case anymore. Neither are the email addresses selectable in from field
in the web interface nor does Postfix accept them - they are rejected
with an 550-Mailbox unknown. It seems that it is not an alias, because
it's trying to deliver the email to a mailbox by the name of the alias
instead of trying to deliver to the main mailbox the alias is for.

What's the default/recommended setup to get aliases working in the web
interface and for delivery?

I understand that delivery is dependent on the underlying mail system,
however, the aliases showing up in the web interface seem SOGo specific.
I'd like some feedback on that so I can set up my aliases to be
compatible with SOGo.

Thanks,

Simon

(I read somewhere else that mail sent to an alias will be delivered to
all users with the alias. I can't find that now. It sounds like a nice
solution though.)
