Hi Tom,

That's right, keep Samba4, then for the base tree, put example.local (not
dc=User...).
Then you will get Administrator@example.local automatically

[SOGo] Can't change the IMAP servername

2013-03-29 Thread Michael Vogel

Hi!

I followed the instructions at
http://www.linuxjournal.com/article/10894?page=0,0

I can access the web interface and on the first view it looks good.

But: My IMAP server is running on a different machine. In the
preferences the fields in the IMAP accounts are greyed out and are
directing to localhost.

It would be great to be able to change these values.

[SOGo] I have to login every few minutes - why?

2013-03-29 Thread Michael Vogel

Hi!

I have a second problem: Every few minutes the system does a log out so
I have to log in again.

I guess that there is some setting where I can change that?

An update: The system is doing this even when I'm working at the
system. So it is not some kind of inactivity logout.

SOGo is looking better than every other solution I found by now. I hope
that my problems can be solved.

Have you set OCSSessionsFolderURL in your defaults file? Have a look at the
official docs:

You do realize that tutorial is over 2 years old, and although written by one
of the instrumental contributors, is not the official install document? SOGo
has undergone some changes since that page was posted. Your best, first stop

I also had a look at the official documentation. I tried several
parameters - but none of them worked.

Of course I can enable multiple IMAP accounts and don't use the first
one. But this is an ugly solution, I think. By now I'm working with
netcat to forward the IMAP port to the other server. But this is
something I don't really like as well :)

I also have to figure out how to enable multiple identities. Since I
haven't found a solution for that in the net I guess that it isn't
possible by now?

When comparing the parameters I had overseen that. Now it's working.

The net? Try the documentation instead and grep for those:
  SOGoIMAPServer
  SOGoMailAuxiliaryUserAccountsEnabled

http://www.sogo.nu/files/docs/SOGo%20Installation%20Guide.pdf

In fact, read the whole thing, it probably contains all the answers you're

[SOGo] Format for the IMAPHostFieldName and SieveHostFieldName parameters

2013-03-29 Thread Thibault Le Meur

Hi,

I'd like to know if the IMAPHostFieldName and SieveHostFieldName
parameters can take an URL as their value (instead of simply the DNS
name of the server).

For instance, do they accept the same syntax as the SOGoIMAPServer and
SOGoSieveServer parameters ? Such as:

imaps://localhost:993
sieve://localhost:2000/?tls=YES

Thank you in advance,
Thibault

The second I had already enabled. But I do not want multiple accounts
but multiple identities for one account. But according to the roadmap
this isn't possible by now.

The first one I already tried. And I was too dumb when trying that. I
guess I forgot to restart the server. It is working now :)

Yeah, I already did. But sometimes I'm having problems finding the right
solution since english isn't my first language. Additionally I'm more a
programmer and less an administrator.

[SOGo] Can't find valid mailbox Postfix+Dovecot

2013-03-29 Thread Olivier Gonson

Hi all,

I'm trying to setup a Centos6+Samba4+Sogo+Openchange+Dovecot+Postfix
configuration.
I think i have a problem with the mailboxes. I'm very confused about
configuration of postfix and dovecot. For the moment :
- I can login on the webgui and see the fodlers Trash, Sent and Drafts
but can't see my INBOX (it stays empty) or send email (no valid mailbox
error). I can also create drafts and move them to the different folders.
- I can create a mail profile in Windows control panel but Outlook says
it can't access my default mail folder.

- i can

I guess there is a problem with my mailboxes or their location in
postfix configuration but i can't pinpoint it.

Here is my postfix configuration :

I'm now playing around with delegations. This seems to work.

So there is only one problem left:

I'm using procmail to automatically move mails into subfolders. The
problem is that there is no sign that there are new mails in subfolders.

I saw this closed bug request:
http://www.sogo.nu/bugs/view.php?id=965

Since I'm using procmail rules it doesn't work for me :-(

Is there some workaround?
