[SOGo] Problem with signature

2013-07-23 Thread Ludovic Hutin

Hello all,

We have upgraded our version to 2.0.6 and we have a strange problem
with the Signature option.

It is impossible to copy / paste HTML document with an image in the
signature popup.

Someone have the same problem ?

Best regards,
Ludovic.

do not need to set these parameters:

These parameters effect the login page only. You may exclude them from your
 config.

That is not correct for SOGoDomainsVisibility.
This option defines, whether the users of one domain can see the global
address book of another domain.
This affects sharing and autocompletion when writing emails or inviting
people to an event.

So e.g. if you have a domain per department and you want to have all
addresses visible for each user in your company, then you have to set
this option.

For Outlook connectivity you need samba4, because only that has the
authentication and transfer protocols implemented, which Outlook uses
natively.

You don't need another LDAP, because samba4 provides one already.

As you are using authentication against a database, you have to
synchronize your samba4 with your database on every change.

Hope that clarifies it.

Thanks Christian, for the clarification.

I use SOGo SxS with Groupoffice and I find that Groupoffice allows me
to have a dropdown of the domains available on the system so that a
user only enters their first part of the e-mail address and then
chooses the domain from the dropdown. However, where as Groupoffice
uses IMAP authentication, I don't know how SOGo achieves the
authentication. For SOGo I have to enter the full e-mail address even
despite having a dropdown of the domains. In this respect I still find
groupoffice easier to use than SOGo - so far. I am sticking to SOGo in
order to see if one day I am able to get funambol working on FreeBSD.
Right now it doesn't compile.

Under apache you can create external access restrictions to specified LDAP

External users will authenticate two times - one for access the SOGo

If you chose this path, you could actually enable SOGoTrustProxyAuthentication

2013-07-23 Thread Francis Lachapelle
The Inverse Team is pleased to announce the immediate availability of SOGo
2.0.7. This is a minor release of SOGo which focuses on improved stability over
previous versions.

What is SOGo

SOGo is a free and modern scalable groupware server. It offers shared
calendars, address books and emails through your favorite Web browser or by
using a native client such as Mozilla Thunderbird and Lightning, Apple Calendar
and Address Book (OSX and iOS) and Microsoft Outlook.

SOGo is standard-compliant and supports CalDAV, CardDAV, GroupDAV and reuses
existing IMAP, SMTP and database servers - making the solution easy to deploy
and interoperable with many applications.

SOGo features :

Scalable architecture suitable for deployments from dozen to many thousand users
Rich Web-based interface that shares the look and feel, the features and the
data of Mozilla Thunderbird and Lightning
Improved integration with Mozilla Thunderbird and Lightning by using the SOGo
Connector and the SOGo Integrator
Native compatibility for Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007 and 2010
Two-way synchronization support with any SyncML-capable devices (BlackBerry,
Palm, Windows CE, etc.) by using the Funambol SOGo Connector
Excellent native integration with Apple software (OSX and iOS) and
Android-based devices
and many more! SOGo and our connectors are completely free.
