Any idea why Firefox would warn "This Connection is Untrusted"?

The certificate they’re using expired April 21st, 2013. This afternoon
everything was fine, maybe they exchanged their old certificate by an even
older already expired one.

For looking around that’s probably fine, but for signing up I’d wait for them
to fix the issue.

Thanks, Jens. I just got a reply from transifex.net support (which
redirected to supp...@transifex.com) that the official site is
transifex.com, not .net; transifex.net is supposed to redirect to .com,
which has a valid certificate. However,

http://[www.]transifex.net[/] does redirect, but
https://[www.]transifex.net[/] does not redirect

I suggested they might want to correct the latter.

John

[SOGo] Emailed reminders for events?

2014-05-28 Thread Charles Marcus

Hi all,

Reading in the User Guide, I see where it talks about enabling email
based reminders, but it doesn't go into much detail.

First, we need this for just specific users, not a global option that
affects everyone.

Am I correct that enabling this option (and the cron job) will result in
each user then having the choice to enable email reminders for events?

If so, would there then be a way for any given user to enable these by
default, so they don't have to do it each time?

I'm going to try to get this working this weekend, but would like to get
a few answers first so I know what to expect.

Thanks,

Charles

btw, you're right that using unknown config is wrong, as I said I tried
to follow overall sogo examples just to see if I could make it work, and
this is just my sogo test/learn environment, so I don't care much about
breaking up things, I just wished to have a somewhat working system to

We are evaluating SOGo and have been impressed for far.

One of our issues is that we don't find the way to authorize a or all user(s)

Hi Ludo, list,

Using the new nightly, the error is indeed gone, however still no
emails. But I have also received word from jolla:

"Ok, so is a actual bug that we fixed already, fix is in next update,
please leave the question open then we can check back once the release
is public"

So, fixes in both sogo and sailfish...! :-) Next update for sailfish is
beginning of june, we'll have to wait a few days...

Thanks for super responsive sogo and jolla support! :-)

yes driver=passed is my typo (autocorrector) I meant driver=passwd like you
have in your config file.

You should not use configuration file options that you don’t understand.
Precisely userdb and passdb can have several backends configured and listing
redundant ones might lead to degraded performance whilst everything looks
working fine except that.

Namely, I don’t think you really use passdb pam or userdb passwd. These lookups
leading to nonexistent configuration will fail silently but slow down your
system considerably.

Martin.

I'd stick to dovecot. To make dovecot show its real power, I'd recommend to
use dovecot's 'deliver': That way all imap operations get a tremendous

for more details).

To be precise, dovecot will still create the on-disk indexes (unless you
intentionally disable them) even if you something other than the
dovecot-LDA.

Using the LDA allows dovecot to update the indexes at delivery time,
rather than when a client accesses the mail store, which definitely can
be a big advantage, especially with large installations.

I could try to remove or correct those lines, if anyone suggest me, but
I am so new to dovecot that I could help a good tutorial, perhaps, to
understand the underlying complexity. wiki docs seemed a bit scaring, at
first. I would love to RTFM, if there is one (it was planned, just later).
