Re: [SOGo] No Reply-to address in SOGo 2.0.4?

2014-09-11 Thread Marcel Waldvogel
Allen,

I’m running 2.2.8, which I recommend you to update to. In any case, there is a
Reply-To setting in Settings→IMAP accounts and has been there for ages, so I
guess it should be in 2.0.4 as well.

But PLEASE, do not do what most of the Thunderbird are tempted to do, because
of the prominent placement of the Reply-To address in the setup screen: PLEASE
do NOT set your Reply-To address to your From address! This causes a lot of
things to break and is completely unnecessary.

Alles Gute,
-Marcel

Re: [SOGo] SOGo connector prompts for password again

2014-09-11 Thread Marcel Waldvogel
How many users do you have? How many SOGo processes do you allow? Could it be
that there are timeouts or connection aborts somewhere in the chain
(client→network→Web server→SOGo→database)? Do any of the log files indicate
anything along these lines?

Alles Gute,

[SOGo] Sogo fails Sieve login - empty username ?

2014-09-11 Thread sigurd
Hi !

Trying to adjust email settings in the web interface, I get a "Service
unavailable" error.
No settings are stored.

I see the following error in the Sieve log :

Sep 11 19:47:16 managesieve-login: Info: Disconnected (auth failed, 2 attempts
in 0 secs): user=<>, method=PLAIN, rip=xx.xx.xx.xx, lip=yy.yy.yy.yy,

It seems the username is empty.

In the SOGo log I see :

This is on SOGo 2.2.8, but the same problem exists on SOGo 2.2.7.

Are these two problems related ?

In my case, PostgreSQL 9.2 database, running on the same host as SOGo.

For example:

SOGoProfileURL =
"postgresql://sogo:PASSWORD@127.0.0.1:5432/sogo/sogo_user_profile";

It's a standard PostgreSQL 9.2 install, with the following changes made
to the postgresql.conf (more connections, more RAM, more checkpoint
segments):

-max_connections = 100  # (change requires restart)
+max_connections = 1000 # (change requires restart)

-shared_buffers = 32MB  # min 128kB
+shared_buffers = 256MB # min 128kB

-#work_mem = 1MB# min 64kB
-#maintenance_work_mem = 16MB   # min 1MB
+work_mem = 16MB# min 64kB
+maintenance_work_mem = 256MB   # min 1MB

-#checkpoint_segments = 3   # in logfile segments, min 1, 16MB each
+checkpoint_segments = 32   # in logfile segments, min 1, 16MB each

-#effective_cache_size = 128MB
+effective_cache_size = 512MB

[SOGo] No Reply-to address in SOGo 2.0.4?

2014-09-11 Thread Allen Chen

Hi there,

I am using SOGo 2.0.4. In the web interface, when I reply an email,
there is no option to set "Reply-to" address.

But in Thunderbird, there is an option to change "Reply-to" address.

How can I change "Reply-to" address in the web interface?

Thanks,
Allen

We don't have this problem.
What authentication backend do you use?

[SOGo] Upcoming v2.2.9 release + v3 release

2014-09-11 Thread Ludovic Marcotte
Hello,

SOGo v2.2.9 should be released in the next 2-3 weeks. It'll have the
following enhancements:

  * Up-to-date Samba/OpenChange versions and packages
  * Support for repetitive alarms and repetitive tasks
  * SAML improvements
  * iCal/iOS improvements
  * Asciidoc-based documentation

As for v3, you can now test it from:

http://demo.sogo.nu/SOGo

or from there, for the mobile version:

http://demo.sogo.nu/SOGo?theme=mobile

You can use the sogo1, sogo2 and sogo3 test users (password is sogo1,
sogo2 or sogo3). Note that for now, only the Address Book module has
been 'converted' to AngularJS/Foundation/Ionic. We are currently
converting other modules (Calendar / Mail / Preferences) as we laid out
a nice foundation with the Address Book module.

Your feedback is appreciated on v3!

Best regards,
