[SOGo] Deprovision openchange
Hi I guess my openchange config is broken. Therefore i want to cleanup and restart from beginning. Problem is: # openchange_provision --deprovision [!] Unable to unregister this server, it's being used for: handling 2 mailboxes I already searched in documentation and forums without success. There are a lot of commands (openchangeclient, mapiprofile, sogo-tool, ...). I don't know which to use and/or doesn't find the correct options. I am even not able to list which users are in openchange and which mailboxes are handled. Anyone out there, who can help me? regards Mario -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
[SOGo] MailFiedNames and SQL
Hey, me again ;) now I need to use some aliases in the from field when sending mails in the webUI. For recall, I use Sogo with PostfixAdmin on a MariaDB database. Reading here and there, I found that the alias functionnality isn't totally handle at this time, but MailFiedNames can be a temporary alternative. (in fact, I have totally NOT understood how to use SOGoMailCustomFromEnabled... this will probably be the object of a later post ! For now, let try with MailFiedNames). So, in the mailbox table of Postfixadmin, I added 2 fields mail1, mail2. I modify the sogo view as this :CREATE VIEW `sogo_users` AS SELECT local_part AS c_uid, username AS c_name, PASSWORD AS c_password, name AS c_cn, username AS mail, mail1, mail2, domain FROM `mailbox`;and in SOGoUserSources, I added MailFieldNames = (mail1, mail2); Restarted sogod, logout/login with my user, but no more choices in from field... :'( Any idea ? Thanks, Frank -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

Re: [SOGo] Sogo webmail mime type unknown
Thanks Christian, our emails crossed ;) Yes, the link in mail body works. If the link in header isn't intended for opening, maybe it will be better to not have the choice (say, only have a save option when cliking on it) ? Le Mardi 18 Août 2015 12:05 CEST, Christian Mack christian.m...@uni-konstanz.de a écrit: Hello Frank How are you opening your attachements? Do you use the Link in the email header or go to the bottom of the email and click on the attachment icon there? When using the link in the header, those are meant for saving only. Because of that, they shall not open those files directly. Only when you use the icons at the bottom of the email, SOGo will open them with the corresponding application set within your OS. Kind regards, Christian Mack Am 17.08.2015 um 14:32 schrieb Frank Soyer: Hi Christian, back from holidays :) I find your answer. I'm sure this is not the problem, first because *all* attached files from all senders are viewed as unknown type, and because in Thunderbird this same files (via IMAP, so in same emails) are correctly viewed and opened ! I found another strange thing : when I attach a file in a new mail, the file is correctly viewed and I can open it via the new mail window before sending the mail ! But if I send this mail to myself, when receiving it the file isn't recognized anymore... Same thing if I forward a mail with an attached file : in the original mail the file is viewed as text (exactly : unknown mime type), and after in the forward window, it is correctly viewed ! So the problem seems to be in the webUI. Any idea to debug this ? For recall : Sogo 2.3.0-1 rpm on CentOS6.6, Postfix 2.6.6-6, dovecot 2.0.9-8. Le Lundi 3 Août 2015 14:47 CEST, Christian Mack christian.m...@uni-konstanz.de a écrit: Hello Frank Attachment mime types are provided by the sending email client in the email. SOGo will not guess which it is, instead it will use the provided ones for download/display. So this depends on the sender to do it right. [SOGo] All calendars shared by default to Autheticated Users
Hi, I have Sogo 3.2.1. installed in my institute and it's working fine. It authenticates users against an LDAP server. I wanted to configure this as a default: SOGoCalendarDefaultRoles = ( PublicModifier, // people can modify public objects in my shared calendar ConfidentialDAndTViewer, // people can see date and time only of confidential objects in my shared calendar ObjectCreator, // people can create objects in my shared calendar ObjectEraser // people can delete objects in my shared calendar ); so that all calendars newly shared by the user had those settings to the specified colleagues (usually, for really full-shared calendars with similar permissions among users). However, I discovered that by default every calendar is also shared to the Authenticated Users, with the above default settings. This is bad, since doing so everything becomes *really* public, even the Personal Calendar (which, by its name, should be kept personal...). Is there a way not to have the Authenticated Users share by default, so that users will decide whether to add this special category or not?
