Re: [SOGo] SOGo Configuration

2015-11-03 Thread dan le bray
Hello,
Have you tried establishing a connection using the cli command with the
user/pwd set for SOGo ie, "mysql -u sogo -p sogo -h localhost sogo"?

Just make sure you do have the database created with privileges granted
to the dedicated db user and the mysql daemon accept incoming
connections on the loopback.

If both conditions are met, you may also try using 127.0.0.1 instead of
localhost

[SOGo] CalDAV synchronization

2015-11-03 Thread flusi100
Hello!

For test purposes I am actually running ZEG. Connected to my LAN with wifi,
login into web interface and synchronisation works perfect. From outside I
only can use the web interface, CalDAV does not work. I have forwarded port 80
and suppose, other ports are missing. Am I right and which ports are necessary
for synchronisation between ZEG and CalDAV?

Thanks,

[SOGo] No Joy iOS

2015-11-03 Thread Bob Wooldridge
I have tried several different things I've found on the internet to try
and get iPhones and iPad to sync calendars. The config always appears
to work but no calendar events show up.

Is there anyone out there who has a working iPhone with calendars?

Thanks Steve,
I believed the SQL connection should be right, cause SOGo auto create
three tables on sogo database, and I found there are three datas in
sogo_sessions_folder table.
but the logs always showed there are errors on SOGoSQLUserProfile, and
right now I can login by LDAP authenticate but nothing shows up. just
change the url from http://sogo/SOGo to http://sogo/SOGo/userid
any ideas?

Re[2]: [SOGo] SOGo Configuration

2015-11-03 Thread 王建常
I had followed this instruction to create the database and user.
http://www.sogo.nu/nc/support/faq/article/how-do-i-configure-sogo-to-use-mysql.html
but when I try to use the cli command which you provided, system showed
as below, it looks like syntax error.
Is it right or wrong?

[jason@sogo sogo]$mysql -u sogo -p sogo -h localhost sogo
mysql Ver 15.1 Distrib 5.5.41-MariaDB, for Linux (x86_64) using
readline 5.1
Copyright (c) 2000, 2014, Oracle, MariaDB Corporation Ab and others.

Usage: mysql [OPTIONS] [database]

Default options are read from the following files in the given order:
/etc/mysql/my.cnf /etc/my.cnf ~/.my.cnf
The following groups are read: mysql client client-server client-mariadb
The following options may be given as the first argument:
--print-defaultsPrint the program argument list and exit.
--no-defaults Don't read default options from any option file.
--defaults-file=# Only read default options from the given file #.
--defaults-extra-file=# Read this file after the global files are read.

-?, --help Display this help and exit.
   -I, --help Synonym for -?
   --abort-source-on-error
Abort 'source filename' operations in case of
errors
--auto-rehash Enable automatic rehashing. One doesn't need to
use
'rehash' to get table and field completion, but
startup
and reconnecting may take a longer time. Disable
with
   --disable-auto-rehash.
(Defaults to on; use --skip-auto-rehash to
disable.)
   -A, --no-auto-rehash
No automatic rehashing. One has to use 'rehash' to
get
table and field completion. This gives a quicker
start of
mysql and disables rehashing on reconnect.
   --auto-vertical-output
Automatically switch to vertical output mode if
the
result is wider than the terminal width.
-B, --batch Don't use history file. Disable interactive
behavior.
   (Enables --silent.)
   --character-sets-dir=name
   Directory for character set files.
   --column-type-info Display column type information.
-c, --comments Preserve comments. Send comments to the server.
The
   default is --skip-comments (discard comments),
enable
   with --comments.
-C, --compress Use compression in server/client protocol.
-#, --debug[=#] This is a non-debug version. Catch this and exit.
--debug-check Check memory and open file usage at exit.
-T, --debug-infoPrint some debug info at exit.
   -D, --database=name Database to use.
   --default-character-set=name
   Set the default character set.
   --delimiter=nameDelimiter to be used.
-e, --execute=name Execute command and quit. (Disables --force and
history
   file.)
-E, --vertical Print the output of a query (rows) vertically.
-f, --force Continue even if we get an SQL error. Sets
   abort-source-on-error to 0
   -G, --named-commands
Enable named commands. Named commands mean this
program's
internal commands; see mysql> help . When enabled,
the
named commands can be used from any line of the
query,
otherwise only from the first line, before an
enter.
   Disable with --disable-named-commands. This option
is
   disabled by default.
-i, --ignore-spaces Ignore space after function names.
--init-command=name SQL Command to execute when connecting to MySQL
server.
   Will automatically be re-executed when
reconnecting.
--local-infile Enable/disable LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE.
-b, --no-beep Turn off beep on error.
   -h, --host=name Connect to host.
   -H, --html Produce HTML output.
   -X, --xml Produce XML output.
--line-numbers Write line numbers for errors.
(Defaults to on; use --skip-line-numbers to
disable.)
   -L, --skip-line-numbers
Don't write line number for errors.
-n, --unbufferedFlush buffer after each query.
--column-names Write column names in results.
(Defaults to on; use --skip-column-names to
disable.)
   -N, --skip-column-names
Don't write column names in results.
   --sigint-ignore Ignore SIGINT (CTRL-C).
-o, --one-database Ignore statements except those that occur while
the
default database is the one named at the command
line.
--pager[=name] Pager to use to display results. If you don't
supply an
option, the default pager is taken from your ENV
variable

Sounds like an SQL error -- perhaps the 'sogo' user and password (or grants)

I ran into something similar when I initially configured MariaDB v.10,
and I "dropped" the user, recreated and granted permissions, etc. until
I got it right. Try logging into MySQL with the user 'sogo'

It acts as though it's not "binding" the user to the database. I can't
tell you more.

Hi, I'm trying to install and config SOGo for test purpose,
but I have no ideas how to configure SOGo to make it work properly.
I had installed postfix and dovecot with AD integrated and make them

properly, but I don't know how to config SOGo to use global address
book,
calendar and webmail function.
Is there any step by step configuration guide for a newbie to follow up?
Thanks in advance.
