How do I update to SOGo 3? Do I need to change the repository? My server is currently on 2.3.7a on Centos 6 and no matter what I try with yum - no updates are found. I don't know whether Inverse had issues -- but at least we had support requests from our users not finding functions hidden behind the context menu and/or double clicks. People do not expect those in web applications. If there's a solution without, it's the better one. The context menu belongs to the browser, and I want to be able to use the browser's functions there. The SOGo web UI is a web page, if you want normal desktop behavior, interfacing it with Thunderbird is probably the better (and more comfortable) solution. I also remember some issues we had when users had addons in their browser, which did not work well with SOGo. Those issues are _very_ hard to track, and usually happen because of hooking into the context menu and similar operations. Aw: Re: [SOGo] Update from SOGo 2.3.4 to 2.3.7a Calendar no new event possible/can not send emails
What I did to solve it on my centos machine: Updated not only SOGo by , yum update sogo, I did too update sope. So it looked like , yum update sogo sope* , and after that and a restart of the host it worked again with 2.3.7a as it should. Hope it will help you. Greetings Daniel Gesendet: Donnerstag, 28. Thought it was some local issue but when you have the same problems with saving calendar events and mails, it seems to be a general issue. We had a lot of proxy errors in the apache logs, like Internal error: proxy: error reading status line from remote server 127.0.0.1:2 No errors in the sogo log. [SOGo] Sogo CardDAV Contact filtering
Hi, I have a SOGO server here and we are expirienceing issues with the built in CardDAV interface. It seems as that the SOGo server does not support the filtering features specified at the CardDAV standard. For example if we send following request to the server: Klaus Then only contacts should be returned that "Klaus" in their fullname (FN) field. However during the tests the server ignored the filtering and always return all data available at the address book. Is this the expected behavior? Does SOGo not support the full CardDAV standard, especially, the filtering? Regards Annemarie -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

I ask because there are some bugs in OpenChange having to do with EAS, which prevent SOGo's OpenChange ActiveSync features from working as a full replacement for Exchange server. Outlook users see some missing features, some performance problems and some bugs. You're mixing a few things here. There's no such thing as OpenChange EAS. OpenChange implements the native Exchange protocol (Outlook Anyway is the Exchange protocol over HTTP). OpenChange is pretty much maintained by Zentyal. SOGo provides a backed for OpenChange, so we can link both solutions together. The EAS code in SOGo does not require OpenChange at all. 2. Also, what's the roadmap or status on implementing Exchange Web Services as discussed on the zentyal openchange github repo? https://github.com/openchange/openchange/issues/314 Ask the OpenChange team. Many say EWS is a better bet than EAS and much less trouble to debug than the popular yet arcane and overly complicated EAS. EWS isn't better than EAS - those are completely different beasts. EAS is mainly for mobile devices and Outlook 2013. EAS is a protocol oriented towards synchronization of _personal data_. Also Outlook 2013 and newer use EWS to talk to exchange server so this EWS code would be a smart addition to OpenChange and SOGo. Outlook 2013 supports the Exchange protocol and EAS. It does not support EWS. Hi Mayak, You have to use one of the keys that separate the recipients and create chips with the recipients. The keys are: TAB, ENTER and comma. We still have a problem when using on mobile devices, because on mobile SOGo should create the chip on blur in the field. But this is already submitted on Bug #3470.
